Membership & Participation

Criteria for Membership & Participation in Pitch Meetings:

1. You are a UC Berkeley alumnus/a or current or former faculty member; and
2. You are an accredited investor, as defined in SEC Regulation D, Rule 501, and www.sec.gov/answers/accred.htm

These are also the criteria for membership in our Linkedin group. When attending pitch meetings, you will be asked to complete and agree to the terms of the Accredited Investor Qualification Questionnaire.

The Berkeley Angel Network reserves the right to require in its discretion other or additional criteria for membership and/or participation in pitch meetings.

All investments in entrepreneurial companies involve a high degree of risk, and investors should be able to bear the risk of complete financial loss. It is important that you understand that you, and not the Berkeley Angel Network or its members, will be responsible for your own investment decisions in connection with any companies introduced through the Berkeley Angel Network.
