We are always searching for ways to keep fortifying our stringent security control measures. Merlin.net was awarded the stringent worldwide information security standard ISO 27001 certification. In support of our Cybersecurity goals, we have received a Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II report. This report independently validates multiple layers of internal security controls to protect patient data* for the Merlin.net Patient Care Network.

Prepared by a global auditing firm, the SOC 2 Type II report concludes that the controls we have implemented were designed effectively. It shows these controls operate in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) trust service principles of Security, Availability and Confidentiality.

Along with our ISO 27001 certification, two-factor authentication, two-step log-in scheme and Safe Harbor standards, the SOC 2 report reinforces our leadership in cybersecurity and our commitment to patient safety.
