Xiaomi has launched the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra. The e-scooter is powered by a 500 W motor with 940 W peak power, providing a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). Four ride modes are available, including a Pedestrian setting which tops out at 6 kph (~4 mph). Plus, the scooter can tackle inclines up to 25%. A 561.5 Wh lithium-ion battery lets you ride for up to 70 km (~43 miles) on a single charge; you can fully recharge the power pack in around 6.5 hours with the accompanying power adapter.
You can view journey statistics such as your distance travelled and remaining range in the Xiaomi Home or Mi Home apps. The Electric Scooter 4 Ultra features a dual suspension system for a smoother ride, and the 10-in Xiaomi DuraGel tires are tubeless and self-sealing. The scooter is equipped with E-ABS and drum braking, and the headlight and tail lights help you to see and be seen in the dark. The latest model from Xiaomi features a larger 800 cm² (~124 in²), 170 mm (~6.7-in) long deck with a higher and broader 550 mm (~21.7-in) handlebar for a more comfortable ride position.
Overall, the scooter measures 1,260 x 1,200 mm (~49.6 x 47.2-in), collapsing to 535 x 1200 mm (~21.1 x 47.2-in) when folded. The e-scooter weighs 24.5 kg (~54.0 lbs) and supports loads up to 120 kg (~265 lbs), suitable for riders from 120 to 200 cm (~3 ft 11-in to 6 ft 7-in) tall. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra will retail for €999.99 (~US$1,055); the product is already listed on the Spanish website, though it is currently out of stock. It is unclear when the e-scooter will launch in Spain and when it will be available in other markets.
