Windows 10 Enterprise 2019 LTSC x64 v2108 lite (ivankehayov)

This is a lite version of Windows 10 LTSC x64 made by me (ivankehayov) with updates until August 2021.

This lite Windows must be installed from USB drive as fresh installation only. You can’t upgrade your current OS!
Keep in mind, future monthly cumulative updates won’t be installed but Windows Defender and .NetFx receive updates!

Some features of this release:
– stable;
– small size of installation media;
– WMP and media features are intact;
– Windows Defender is intact and updateable;
– software/apps compatible;
– nothing integrated except latest updates;
– no registry tweaks applied;
– remaining features can be turned on or off;
– Language packs can be downloaded and installed;
– MS account can be used;

– IE is removed – click cmd file on desktop to download latest MS Edge browser;
– Calculator is pinned to taskbar for convenience.

Features removed:
Adobe Flash for IE, Backup, BitLocker, Cortana, Disk quota, Ease of Access most options, Face/finger Recognition, Fax, File History, Fonts (Asian and rarely used), Hyper-V, IE-DeveloperTools, IIS, Internet Explorer, Handwriting recognition, Memory Diagnostic, MSMQ, MultiPoint Connector, NFC tools, Offline Maps, OCR, Parental Control, Private Character Editor, Recovery, Remote Assistance, Remote Desktop feature, Spatial sounds, Speech/voice option, Steps Recorder, Storage Spaces, Windows Insider Hub, Windows Mixed Reality, Windows Subsystem for Linux, Windows To Go, Work Folders, XPS viewer/creator, most drivers (BE READY WITH YOUR NETWORK DRIVERS at least after installation!).

Features left (as appeared in StartMenu):
Calculator, Character Map, Notepad, Paint, Snipping tool, Windows Media Player, WordPad, Component Services, Computer Management, Defragment and Optimize Drives, Disk Cleanup, Event Viewer, ODBC Data Sources, Print Management, Registry Editor, Services, System Configuration, System Information, Task Scheduler, Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security, Windows PowerShell, Windows Security, Command Prompt, Control Panel, File Explorer, Run, Task Manager, Windows Administrative Tools.

Other features left:
.NET Framework, Airplane mode, all Keyboard Layouts, basic drivers, Bluetooth, Connect/project to remote display, Data Usage for internet, File Sharing Support, Legacy Components (DirectPlay), Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc), Location, Media Features, Media Sharing option, Mobile hotspot, Multitasking, Print to PDF, Quick Action menu, Remote Differential Compression, Sync option, System Restore option, UAC.

I put an autoattended.xml file to automatize installation process -> Language: en-US, EULA accepted; User name: IK (Administrators), PC name: IK-PC, time: UTC+2h.

remember this iso has no drivers!!! only basic so you have to grup your drivers in a dvd and install one by one by hand… but after this all installations is faster then ever even with a lot of software and drivers installed … this is a work of art!!!

Tiny glitches.

I have a very old 6 year old Toshiba C50-A-P0015 laptop with the Pentium processor and 2gb of ram. I have tried several times over the past 4 days and each time installing version 2108 does not go smoothly when compared to version 2105. The issue is present during the self start phase of the OS install. V2108 does not start on its own and needs to be manually restarted each time, but V2105 is as smooth as butter right up to the fresh desktop. After full install I cannot make out any difference between the two and both of them fly through with number crunching. When comparing the write up between the two as mentioned by Ivankehayov, the only difference is file sharing being present in V2108 which is not there in V2105. In the new Lenovo with 11th Gen i3 processor the camera does not work with any lite version of Windows and I have tried many, but camera works perfectly in the old Toshiba laptop. The new Lenovo needs the untouched Windows 10 iso to make its camera work. My advice for the time being is to go with Version 2105 and wait for Ivankehayov to come up with another version of Windows 10 lite, but I think majority of the wizards are into make Windows 11 lite.

A good Win10 iso

This is a very nice, and virus free Windows 10 LTSC iso.
Version is correct.
Everything is in english.
You can create a new user after install, and delete IK-PC user.
You can rename the PC after install.
Or you can mess with autounattend beforehand (never tried it).
The solution that IK recommends for permanent activation is indeed working, you just need to create the missing folder by hand (CaseSensitive?).
If you don’t want to mess with windows 10 updates, this is the iso for you.
You can do everything with this version of windows 10.
