“This Friday lunch was in Canyon Crest. Nice spacious spot with an outside patio for plenty. Walk up counter, order, get a number, find a table and they bring you your food when it’s ready. Smooth. I had the waffle fries loaded with brisket. Good flavor and tenderness on the brisket. I didn’t need the bbq sauce. I had already asked for a ‘to go’ box before I realized there was cheese in the mix. Lots of fries. This may be two or three meals. The smash burger was nothing special (who orders a smash burger at a bbq joint?) and the Goliath potato with the 3 large strips of brisket was tasty, impressive and overwhelming. The Mexican street corn had the right idea and the Mac n cheese was creamy. Three of us left with boxes. Service-5 Food-4 Value -5 ROMEO”
