Top 10 Best Cartoon Network Shows
The Top Ten
Ed, Edd n Eddy
Ed, Edd n Eddy is a Canadian-American animated comedy television series created by Danny Antonucci for Cartoon Network, and the sixth of the network’s Cartoon Cartoons. The series revolves around three preteen boys: Ed, Edd “Double D,” and Eddy—collectively known as “the Eds”—who live in a suburban cul-de-sac in the fictional town of Peach Creek. Under the unofficial leadership of Eddy, the trio frequently invent schemes to make money from their peers to purchase their favorite confectionery, jawbreakers. Their plans usually fail, leaving them in various, often humiliating, predicaments. Adult cartoonist Antonucci was dared to create a children’s cartoon; while designing a commercial, he …read more.
This show brought back so many memories since I was a kid. I remember being first introduced to it by my dad and fell in love with the series. My brother and I would come home from school and immediately turned the T.V. on and didn’t care who was still watching their shows. Remembering Eddy as a money loving scam artist was the best comedy ever, Ed as the strong one but was much of an idiot which made him my favorite character, and Edd as the brainiac and the first person to blame on when a scam failed. If I were to rate this show from 1 to 10, I would give it a 1,000
I love Ed, Edd ‘n’ Eddy! It was an amazing show that showed us what Cartoon Network could really make with hard work and persistence! It was a work of art! Not a lot of cartoons could reach the level of hilarious this cartoon gave us! It is truly a great cartoon that is just regarded as a Cartoon Cartoon that wasn’t as good as Adventure Time or Regular Show. But I think that Cartoon Network’s reputation would not have been as good without Ed Edd ‘n’ Eddy. This deserves to be here! Whoever voted for this, good choice!
I fell in love with this show. Plank was awesome and I genuinely enjoyed the Ed/Edd/Eddy’s shenanigans. The series was really about them just trying to find their place in the neighborhood, and it brought great joy to me *SPOILER ALERT* when they finally did in the finale. Eddy’s brother not as amazing as he led on was such a surprise, I felt so bad for him and laughed my ass off when he got what he deserved. Great characters, great plot, great animation… Great show. By far my favorite cartoon in the world.
This show… It’s my childhood. When I was little, the only show that I can remember consistently watching was this. It made fantastic points on adolescent life and related to me in ways that most cartoons simply couldn’t. I’ll admit that I cried after the final episode rolled its credits, but they were happy man tears and I proudly put this show up with the best of them.
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American animated horror comedy television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network as part of the network’s Cartoon Cartoons block.
Boi, this was and always will be my favorite show. It teaches you so many values of life. Don’t talk to strangers, you’re not perfect, nor is anybody else. The last big lesson was it’s okay to be scared, as long as you have the courage to face that fear and overcome it. I truly learned important life factors from this show but yet it still captured the comical side of things through a scared pink beagle and his elderly farm house owners. Hopefully someday, this show might get a reboot that I’ve always wanted. Long live Courage.
John R Dilworth really pushed the bounds with this show. Come on, anyone who remembers this show has memories of them having nightmares about this show if they were in the 5-10 age range. And the funniest thing is, Cartoon Network gave no backlash to the show’s creators. That’s how episodes like the mask were made. And you know how they did this? They combined the horror aspects with action and humor. On paper, this sounds stupid, but they pulled it off. And it was amazing. Here is a top 5 list of the best episodes in my opinion. (5 The mask) (4 The night of the scarecrow) (3 King Ramses curse) (2 Remebrance of courage past) (1 Evil weevil)
This cartoon is amazing! It is scary as heck, but I learned wonderful life lessons through it. Like, true bravery doesn’t come from being un afraid, it comes from taking action to do the right thing, even if you have to face your fears like Courage did to save Muriel. And the episode “Perfect” quote from the talking fish is just beautiful! Yes, best cartoon ever!
I can’t believe I used to not like this show that much as a kid. Courage the Cowardly Dog is actually such a well-written cartoon in the horror comedy genre that will you have you scared, laughing, crying, all those incredible emotions that you get from watching a good show. Ed, Edd n Eddy is still my number 1 favorite Cartoon Network show, but Courage the Cowardly Dog is also one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows as well.
Regular Show
Regular Show is an American animated television series created by J. G. Quintel for Cartoon Network that premiered on September 6, 2010. The series revolves around the lives of two friends, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby—both employed as groundskeepers at a local park.
This show came out of nowhere and destroyed what I thought was possible with cartoons. Besides Adventure Time and Phineas and Ferb, all the good cartoons were from the nineties. Then Regular Show went beyond the nineties mold of greatness to prove not only that animation was still alive, but it is still improving. The idea of the main characters of a cartoon as boring, lazy, 20-something-year-old roommates at a dead end job as park custodians is the most creative and simple working concept for a cartoon. There is no funnier 15 minutes of television than “Caffeinated Concert” except maybe “This Is My Jam”
I was born in 2001, where I grew up watching shows like Dexter’s Laboratory, Ed, Edd and Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Codename: Kids Next Door, The Power Puff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy; the CLASSICS. I loved them. KND was just awesome with blender machine guns, Battle-Ready Armor (B.R. A) and a HUGE treehouse. Dexter’s Lab had the brains and cool tech that fascinated me back then and the evil scientist accent even though he’s from an American family. Courage with aliens, Muriel and that creaky old windmill. Like I said. Classics. Then they all stopped. 2009. 2010. Everything went downhill, but it was simply the slow transition between eras. Adventure Time popped up. Loved it. The Amazing World of Gumball. Hilarious! But the truth is, I never watched Regular Show until one late night when it was on. Then I didn’t get what the heck was meant to be happening. Some lollipop guy with a huge head got mistaken for a professional wrestler, and a bird and raccoon helped …more
I may be only a kid so I am not very good at writing reviews. But this show is my pick for the best cartoon network show ever. I thought the first seasons were some of the greatest cartoons of all time, but the show did get worse in the final seasons. It is super funny with some adult humor, but I think it’s fine for a kid. Mordecai and Rigby are the two main characters, they are known for slacking off all the time in their job and try to make life as fun as possible. But their boss, Benson, hates them because they never do their work. They always find a way to have fun but usually run into a problem. Like there is some action fighting, but not to the point where it is violent. But in all, this is a very funny cartoon that ended too soon. My pick for best cartoon network show
I enjoy watching this show, but sometimes the situation is exaggerated. Here’s some examples. Eating doughnuts that have lots of sugar make you go somewhere weird, why does that have to happen. Instead, it can just make Pops so jumpy and naughty. Next example, spinning for a long time makes you go to another weird place. What?! Last example. Breaking a ritual causes havoc. This is in some episodes. Why does there need to be destruction by just doing something wrong? But overall, fun and funny show. But it can be better by not really exaggerating it. But don’t get me wrong, the show is AWESOME!
Adventure Time
Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake (voiced by John DiMaggio)—a dog with the magical power to change shape and size at will. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. Throughout the show, they interact with the other main characters Princess Bubblegum (voiced by Hynden Walch), the Ice King (voiced by Tom Kenny), and Marceline the Vampire Queen (voiced by Olivia Olson). The series is based on a short produced for Nicktoons and Frederator Studios’ animation incubator series Random! Cartoons. …read more.
I LOVE this show. After the canceling of my two favorite shows Teen Titans and Young Justice I really needed to find a new show. I love Adventure Time because even though it seems like it has no plot or anything to it, it does. If you watch all the episodes, then you will realize that it really does have a deeper meaning to it then just a comical cartoon. I love that it’s created in a post-aptolictic world and if you really begin thinking about it, it really has a sad plot. All of the creatures are all mutated except for Finn (and Betty). I love that there’s collapsed buildings and cars and some episodes flash back to before the Candy Kingdom or any of that. I know there will always be people who hate the show, but compare it to the other shows on Cartoon Network right now. It will never beat out the older shows, but it has more of a plot than these newer shows.
I can’t believe the regular show comes before adventure time? ed edd and eddy, teen titans I can understand. But the regular show? Adventure Time is The BEST Cartoon Network show RIGHT NOW…and those who talk trash about the show just don’t get it. When I first watched adventure time I thought it was just another stupid little kids show, but as I watch more and more episodes the series got deeper and way more interesting. Adventure time is one of the few shows were the characters actually age and you can see how the characters progress from season 1. The characters are hilarious, the voice actors are amazing, plus THE SONGS are extremely catchy.
Me watching the show back when I was 10 in 2011: This show is great! I love this!
Me watching it nowadays: This show is certainly a lot more adult than I remember…
Yeah, ignoring the references to sex and sexual organs, this is a damn good show that I’ll be happy to come back to even after the show got cancelled. The older seasons from 2010-2012 generate a ton of nostalgic memories, while the more recent seasons from 2013-2018 are pretty good for those who are interested in some story arcs. My favorites are probably the Lemongrab story arcs from You Made Me to The Mountain. And I like the more creepier and darker stories like the Lich story arcs, The Creeps, No One Can Hear You and King Worm. I just love this show as much as I liked playing the older Pokemon games back in the day, it is a TV show that is worth rewatching, even after you are 20 years old and grown out of it.
This show is outstanding and Cartoon Network at its best along with Samurai Jack. Adventure Time has had so many great episodes and it proved itself to be one of the best animated shows I had ever seen. Those who are criticising it are moronic 90’s kids thinking their childhood was awesome in which Ed Edd N’ Eddy is nowhere near the quality Adventure is at. Ed Edd N’ Eddy is slapstick and it has great humor, and the only episode I would say were 5 star quality is “One+One=Ed”, ” Take this Ed and Shove It”, and “Once Upon an Ed”. Whilst Adventure Time has a handful of them and is too much to count.
Teen Titans
Teen Titans is an American animated television series created by Glen Murakami, based on the DC Comics characters of the same name.
Oh my gosh I can’t believe that this wasn’t first. Or even in the top ten. This show is so unique: it made me rofl more times than I can count, but at the same time it has serious storylines, deep character exploration, and a level of maturity that kid-friendly shows rarely have. It deals with mature themes like loss, revenge, betrayal, and many others, and if you squint you will see parallels of subjects like drug use and racism. It is just such a good show, and the five main characters are all so completely different yet come together for a cause. There’s something in this cartoon for everyone.
Easily one of if not the best show on CN. Great storylines and characters. It was my favorite show as a little kid. I still love to come back to it every now and then. Between the OG Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go! there is no comparison. Don’t let the new crap stop you from watching this!
Congratulations to the show on being in the top five, but I would definitely like to see it in the top three. The plot is stable, the animation is beautiful, the characters are well developed, and there are amazing messages that reach beyond being cheesy and easily forgotten. There are references to racism, drug use, mental instability, betrayal, revenge, and many more. I have grown up with this show and truly admire it. The main characters’ personalities are so different, making it interesting. As mentioned by another comment, they all come together for a cause and inspire all those who see it.
There is also a good deal of comedy, which, although is not the only thing that drives this show, certainly is the glue that holds it all together. I love that I can laugh along with the characters and at the next moment be ready to deal with their problems along with them. I feel as if I am there, inside the screen, experiencing every emotion, problem, and solution.
Many fans of …more
For about 6 years of my life, I never missed any episodes. I’ve probably seen every episode almost 20 times yet still found everything about the show interesting. Unlike most shows, Teen Titans didn’t focus mainly on 1 character. Season 1 was about Robin and his challenges with Slade, Season 2 focused on Terra and the entire situation with Slade. Season 3 was about Cyborg discovering himself, season 4 was about Raven overcoming her past, and Season 5 was about beast boy and his past. Then you always get 3 or 4 Starfire episodes per season. The show had maturity that most other kid friendly shows don’t have and goes deep into the characters. The relationships between characters is so unique and intriguing. The Starfire and Robin relationship is in my opinion the best relationship between characters cartoon network has ever had. This is easily my favorite show ever and will definitely watch season 6 if it comes out.
The Amazing World of Gumball
The Amazing World of Gumball is a British-Australian-German-American-Irish children’s animated television series created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network.
This is one of the funniest, cleverest, most heartwarming and most charming pieces of media I have ever seen
If there’s one word to describe this show, it’s effort
This show is the pinnacle of effort, with so much hard work and love going into every single frame.
This show demonstrates exactly what’s possible with the medium of animation, and is the gold standard for comedy cartoons period.
Although not the first animated series to incorporate different animation styles, this is maybe the most unique one yet. A good combination of surreal and satirical comedy, fantasy, and incorporation of multiple animation styles. This is maybe one of the best cartoon network series of all time. Character personalities were strongly established which perfectly fits with good comedy script writing. It feels like watching a sitcom but it’s a cartoon. I rate this cartoon series 10/10 for great animation, well-crafted comedic script and voice acting.
I grew up with shows like ed edd and eddy, Dexter’s lab, Teen Titans, and Samurai Jack. When those shows ended in the 2002-2004 era I had literally nothing to watch on Cartoon Network. Then, one day, my little sister was watching this. I could not take my eyes off the screen, with the ed edd and eddy sanity level, and Dexter’s lab Characters and plot, I instantly fell in love. that was 2012. Now, I’m going to turn 18 next month, and I still mentally live in Gumball’s amazing world. This show, along with Adventure Time and Regular Show were the golden CN shows. Thanks for dropping this one, Cartoon Network.
This is the best show I’ve ever seen. The animation is awesome, unique, and very cool. Just think about how hard it probably is to blend them all together and also blend them in with real backgrounds. Awesome! Now, the comedy. Pure genius. That’s all I can say about it. I can laugh so hard I almost choke! Only a few shows can make me do that! Now, characters. They are very likable and all have unique personalities and all have moments to be hilarious and cool. They can be anything, and that’s one of the reasons this show is so special. Now, originality. This show doesn’t have a very clear plot, but it’s still great. It is very original at times, but also take old plots, and make them better! I have never seen a boring episode in this show. And let’s not forget all the heartwarming moments this show has had. Remember Anais in “The Painting”? At the end, she stated that she loves her family… Just the way they are! That gives you a big smile on your face and enough to make you blurt …more
The Powerpuff Girls
The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network. The main characters of this show are Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. The show is about the Professor Utonium creating three little superhero girls that save the day from villains. This show has an anime spinoff made in Japan, three specials, a movie in theatres, and a reboot. The show aired from 1998 to 2005.
I love this show. Blossom is so smart. Bubbles is always happy. Buttercup is always tough. Professor Utonium is very fatherly. Ms. Keane is a great teacher. The Mayor is so funny. Ms. Bellum is really kind. Mojo Jojo was horrible. Just horrible. Him was extremely scary. Just scary. Sedusa was a horrible young woman. The Amoeba Boys are very silly. Princess is more obnoxious than Janet from The Magic School Bus. Fuzzy Lumpkins is really short tempered. The Gangreen Gang are worse than Hyp, Nod, and Mutt from The Land Before Time. Ace is too skinny and too slim. Snake is too thin and too skinny. Lil Arturo is too short. Grubber is gross. Big Billy is too fat and too round.
Best show in the whole wide world. Who thinks they should make a spin off called The Rowdyruff Boys Show? That would be awesome. We would get to see what the boys are doing at home or what their up to, planning trouble, or running into some fast food places or cool game stores, or the boys going to the beach. They could make an episode where they meet the ppg again and be friends but then they turn into enemies again with an epic battle. Please make that spin off! That would be a dream and the best spin off ever.
This was the cartoon that changed the way I felt about being a girl all together. I was quite a lonely kid growing up and I’ve never had any real friends nor sisters. So sometimes being a tomboy was tough because I still liked ponies and mermaids along my little animals and cute stuff. But being the only sister sometimes made me feel lonely and when you have three brothers who did everything together and singling you out, it was hard for me. It was hard for me to like something that someone else would pick up on liking.
That all changed when I saw this show at just 10. This cartoon helped me through hard times. During long days of struggling and not being able to sit still in school to times when people would humiliate and hurt me with the things they’ve said and done. So whenever I’d relax in the evening to some Cartoon Network or come home from school or wake up on weekends in time for the Powerpuff Girls to be on, my mood constantly changed with a huge smile on my face from …more
This is the best cartoon ever. it’s one of the funniest cartoons I’ve ever seen. People shouldn’t judge it just because the main characters are girls! The power puff girls movie was Cartoon Networks first original movie and has such a large merchandise they have PPG airplanes (real ones)! I think it should be at least at third place. People who dig into graphic violence and comedy should watch this.
Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends
Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is an American animated television series created by Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network Studios.
Please put this back on the air! Can’t see a future plot for it to rebroadcast but I loved it. alliteration sarcasm and things shown as greater for kids were made
Almost all of the shows on CN were good. But Foster’s Home was my favorite. It had a simple art style, episodic plot, characters and that fit the show well because at the end of the day Foster’s was a home of Imaginary Friends created from minds of kids. The main characters Mac and Bloo complement each other really well. Bloo was my favorite character. He was annoying yet charming. The supporting cast is also very diverse and good. If you can go past the simplistic formula of the show, its great. It’s a shame it didn’t have a “proper” ending.
Very creative, vibrant, strange, and well, imaginative! This show had endless possibilities with it’s set up, and it took every advantage of them to create such an interesting world. The animation style was creative and interesting with the tons and tons of unique character designs, not to mention the snappy humor and wacky writing. This show is a classic, in my book.
The creativity behind this show was priceless. Foster’s was amazing and had everything a good show needed. Lovable characters, witty scenes and dialogue, and enough spark to the story to keep you tuned in.
Dexter’s Laboratory
Dexter’s Laboratory is an American comic science fiction animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network, and the first of the network’s Cartoon Cartoons. The show is about a kid scientist named Dexter that has a sister named Dee Dee that keeps breaking into his lab.
The credits song got me a little hyped at times, but this show was awesome.
Being a kid genius, which shows and exemplifies the quality of being curious and great in inventing/making/conceiving, but still shows that even the smartest people can make mistakes, which includes family and even friends, at times.
This show is my epitome.
This show was awesome for a bit, then they revived it and it got terrible. The animation style basically turned into Ren and Stimpy, and it was like they didn’t even try. At least Candi Milo was able to do a REALLY good impression of Dexter. You could barely tell the difference between the voices.
Alright. I just want to know why the hell this isn’t number one. I mean I live E but not as much as this. This is just classic. Way better than most of the Overrated mediocre stuff in front of this. Pretty much all of them except E and Tom and Kerry and maybe fosters
This show was plain amazing because it was so simple at times but still so funny how didi wrecks everything some point in the show and how dexter flips out it was plain comedy.
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (also known as Billy & Mandy) is an American animated television series created by Maxwell Atoms for Cartoon Network, and is the 14th of the network’s Cartoon Cartoons (albeit namely when it was part of Grim & Evil; the show is considered separate from Cartoon Cartoons otherwise). It follows two children named Billy — a slow-witted boy — and Mandy — the cynical best friend — who, after winning a limbo game to save Billy’s pet hamster, gain the mighty Grim Reaper as their best friend in eternal servitude and slavery.

The Person that put I still can’t believe that people hate this show. I mean, this is nearly the Cartoon Network version of Invader ZIM (ironically, the voice of Billy was also the voice of ZIM)! Of course, that’s not because it has a similar plot line, but because it has dark humor. It’s funny for both kids and adults. Also, Grim teaches us that even if your friends use you, don’t listen to them if they are mean, and make the best of friendship. It’s too bad that this show was cancelled your right about that. The People that hate Billy and Mandy AKA Grim & Evil have no life and have no idea what their talking about

Billy and Mandy are awesome. It was very creative. I mean, little kids and the Grim Reaper?! Who else would ever come up with that? This show reminds me of Ren & Stimpy (and maybe Flapjack), a show that has toilet jokes, but it’s actually funny. The humor is mostly dark evilish humor (similar to Invader Zim). I know I’m probably going to get some hate for this, but I think Billy & Mandy is even better than Invader Zim. This is just my opinion, remember. Anyway, 10 out of 10. Bring this classic show back, Cartoon Network!
This series is just as good as Ed edd and eddy and at times better. I mean come on this show is better than the regular show. I’m a 90s baby I’ve watched all these cartoons. Billy and Mandy is amazing. I even remember Grim and Evil. I honestly have a hard time choosing between this and Adventure time because both are cartoons I have watch from the first episode.

Steven Universe
Steven Universe is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network. The show’s based around a young boy by the name of Steven Universe, who is a hybrid of a gem and a human. He lives with his gem friends, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl.

For the longest time, I thought this show was no different from all of the other dumb cartoons coming out. Therefore, I avoided it for the longest time. After watching it years later, I cannot begin to tell you what I was missing. This show helped me find myself while I was struggling through one of the hardest times in my life. It taught me to look at relationships and many other things in life through a different perspective. The first 30 episodes were rather inconsistent, but after that, it got really good. But trust me, you need those first 30 crap episodes. However, this is not a show for everyone. I still understand why a lot of people don’t like it.
Cartoon Network has had some great shows in its time. Recently there have been some lame shows on Cartoon Network. The only good ones now are Regular Show, Gumball, and maybe Adventure Time (not so much nowadays). Steven Universe came along and it’s one of the best cartoons I’ve ever seen. Unlike most shows today, it follows a storyline. Every episode is important. It’s groundbreaking in that it has representation of different races and sexualities. It also includes a beautiful soundtrack and diverse, well-developed characters. It may not seen like much from the outside, but if you gave it a chance, you’d see just how amazing it can be.
Steven Universe should be at the top. I know many people say,” Steven Universe is stupid. I watched the first episode and it sucks.” You see that’s where their wrong. If you only watched the first episode then you don’t know the beauty and the true definition of the show. To me Steven Universe isn’t just a show about a boy. It’s about how the boy learns about who he is and what his past and future may be like. Garnet, her definition to me is love, true love in which two beings combine together and form their love. Pearl, she is very skilled and wished that Rose Quartz was their to help her, but Pearl has a mean side to, like when Peridot said Pearl was very common and she should have a master Pearl just punched her. Amethyst, cool, rocked out, loves to eat junk. She is definition of the stray from the gems. But, Steven know Amethyst and to him she is his big sister. I thank my friend Kristin for showing me the true meaning of Steven Universe.
Rebecca Sugar and the Universe Crew has to be the most talented people I’ve ever seen on television. The story is fantastic, the characters are lovable and the best thing is; they both never stop growing. Every episode, regardless of how long the run time is, is absolutely enjoyable. I always await the next episodes and sing a long to many of the songs. Especially the “Let Me Drive My Van (Into Your Heart)”. Don’t get me started on the voice actors as well. They are all so wonderful and I can sense a lot of character and personality being put into the Steven Universe characters. I’d like to see a lot more of it in the future and beyond.
Codename: Kids Next Door
Codename: Kids Next Door (also known as Kids Next Door or by its acronym KND) is an American animated television series created by Mr. Warburton for Cartoon Network.
12
I can’t think of any other show that is 100000% better as an adult.
The show is fueled by a child’s perspective and understanding of the world, and it is exaggerated into a CSI world. It’s a secret organization of Kids fighting adult tyranny.
Think of it as a G-rated animated version of Lord of the Flies but it’s not a sausage fest, and there is slightly less killing.
The show had very memorable and likable characters, multiple plot twists, and best of all it was funny. Even as an adult it is genuinely, unironically funny.
“What’s a Bra”
“And What’s she TRAINING for”
It brings you back to those good old days of being an innocent kid, and as an adult you can really appreciate the satire and allegories in the show.
The series finale is by far the best series finale of any show on CN. It is surprisingly sophisticated for something that came out of Cartoon Network. While it’s not the most satisfying, at the same time that’s kind of what makes …more
This show was practically my whole childhood.
KND had an amazing plot, great characters, and gave kids an amazing imagination! The episodes were amazing and gripping, once you started you can’t stop. The ending was probably the best finale ever, and I hope they can restart with new episodes, maybe from the children of the original characters and their adventures!
The ideas for the weapons are amazing, like turning a simple blender into a machine gun! Everything a kid could ever dream of folds out before your eyes, even if your older this show takes you back to that time you spied on your parents and sprayed your sibling with a water gun!
Even if this wasn’t number 1 on this list, I am insanely happy this show was on the top ten at least. This show was absolutely amazing and it was one of my favorite shows (still is). I honestly think they should make a show of them again, only as high school teens or something. Or maybe even continue the seasons. This was a great show and I will always be upset it was cancelled
I can’t even put into words the nostalgia that I feel when discussing this show. This cartoon was fantastic, funny, and perhaps most importantly, kids really could relate to parts of it, like hating homework and doing chores. This show was awesome, and the movie did it justice. Easily top 10.
Johnny Bravo
Johnny Bravo is an American animated television series created by Van Partible for Cartoon Network, and the second of the network’s Cartoon Cartoons.
13
Cartoon Cartoons were the best shows CN has ever aired. All of them were unique in some way. But Johnny Bravo tops them all! I mean, how can you not laugh at an overconfident meathead getting turned down by yet ANOTHER woman in a very bizarre way. Clearly the funniest CN show ever!
Definitely one of the best cartoons that was ever aired. It’s a shame the channel formerly known as CartoonNetwork has stepped down to low quality cartoons such as Adventure Time and Regular Show. I guess animators and storywritersjust aren’t what they used to be. Johnny Bravo should be in the top ten.
My favorite cartoons show is Johnny Bravo, Dexter’s Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, Pink Panther, Popeye, Courage of the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd’n Eddy, and I like old cartoons. I think Johnny Bravo is the best one.
When Johnny Bravo appears on the screen I start laughing. Because he always tries to impress girls with his body in vain! And his voice is so funny!
Looney Tunes
Looney Tunes is an American animated series of comedy short films produced by Warner Bros. from 1930 to 1969 during the golden age of American animation, alongside its sister series Merrie Melodies.
14
The looney tunes is the most hilarious show ever the funniest for me is porky the best episode was when the African sand spider and when it went on porky pigs face an the other characters daffy, bugs, lola, yosemite sam and loads more best show in a million years better than amazing world of gumball by far! Go looney tunes yeah!
Looney Tunes are the greatest cartoons on the planet. They are way above anything else on this list. With classic characters, admit it you can name most characters and the characters are the best Cartoon characters in the world.
This list is WRONG! Regular Show, Ed Edd and Eddy are mindless enough that I could make it on my own and it would be just as good. The new looney tunes, the Looney Tunes Show, Is very funny. Especially when Daffy does a “Daffy Move” (Something stupid).
Though I have grown up but still I love to watch it. I watch it both in Hindi as well as in English. I used to watch it daily. It was one of my favourite cartoon shows. I always wondered if I could get my self in T.V. and play with bugs bunny, Lola, Tweety, silvester and all… So cute little characters.
Samurai Jack
Samurai Jack is an American action-adventure chanbara animated series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series premiered on August 10, 2001, with a TV movie called The Premiere Movie, before ending in its fourth season on September 25, 2004, without concluding the story. A revival was produced twelve years later, giving the fifth and final season that concludes the series, which premiered on Adult Swim’s Toonami on March 11, 2017.

Trust me, folks. Samurai Jack Season 5 has been a thrilling roller coaster ride so far. And believe me, it was way worth the admission price. Not only is the revival so faithful to the original, but it also manages to continue to be a phenomenal masterpiece that appeals to fans both old and new. Even though I sadly never watched Samurai Jack as a kid, seeing it come back and aimed towards a more mature audience while still keeping the charm of the original series truly proved to be one of the best animated T.V. series I have seen all year in 2017.
I agree with this being number 2, but this show is… God damn amazing! I was so annoyed when CN cancelled it and replaced it with bad stuff (not counting the amazing world of gumball, regular show and adventure time). I just enjoyed seeing samurai jack kick aku and his henchmen’s butts while the amazing detail and care they put in thrilled me. This clearly is the most underrated T.V. show on Cartoon Network!
Yeah, Cartoon Network really screwed this show in 2004, Seriously, How did this show get screwed so bad? It is one of Genndy’s best cartoon ever made, but what I think has to be the best performance goes to Phil LaMarr. So please Cartoon Network, bring this show back, and gives this show a real run, Something that The Simpsons didn’t deserve. I’m looking for Cartoon Network’s apologize through.
Okay… I love Cartoon Network. Love it, love it, love it. There are many shows I could consider for the top spot (‘Adventure Time’, ‘Steven Universe’, ‘Ed Edd ‘n Eddy’, ‘Powerpuff Girls’, ‘Courage’, ‘Fosters’, ‘Teen Titans’, ‘Regular Show’…). But I ultimately had to go with this underrated, artistic masterpiece. This has an epic mysticism to it that only ‘Avatar’ can hope to reach in terms of recent cartoons. It transcends what T.V. cartoons are capable of, it is unique, beautiful, magical. The only other CN show that comes close to that level is ‘Steven’… others I love incredibly. But ‘Samurai Jack’ is an elegiac work of art. Minimal dialogue, stunning visuals, great characters, stunning atmosphere and ambience… it was a tough choice. But it’s the Network’s most unique show, and my number one.

If there is truly a LEGEND in our world, then it is this show, spanning over more than 80 years of airing and even now it is being aired everyday, with ne productions and old episodes, translated into most languages of the world. It is seen everywhere around the globe (where ever there is a T.V.! ). This is the most beloved cartoons of all time, one of the few that made a deep mark on history, a legacy that cannot be forgotten. This show deserves first position!
I have watched Tom and Jerry ever since I was a little kid. I’m 13 and I still love Tom and Jerry. It was one of the best shows that Cartoon Network ever made besides Samurai Jack, The Amazing World of Gumball, Teen Titans, and more. It was great seeing a smart mouse beating up a not so bright cat. AHH! Those were the Days!
My childhood revolved around watching the iconic cat and mouse cartoon on cloudy afternoons. 6 year old me loved this show and I still love it to this day. I can’t understand why this show isn’t in the #1 spot.
Since I was a little kid, I always liked Tom & Jerry. It has appealing humor for many people, as it’s a turn the table scenario. Some of the exaggerated faces from the slapstick humor is bloody brilliant!
Chowder

I can’t believe this show is not getting the attention it deserves! Someone FINALLY made a show ENTIRELY based off of food! The characters all have great personalities that only makes me want to tear my hair out if this show does not continue! I can’t match this show with any other show out there! Why did they HAVE to cancel the show?! Chowder is my all-time favorite Cartoon Network show ever! Even though the theme song is embarrassing for adults to hear, I still love this show! Have any of you ever played the game punch time explosion xl? Well, Chowder’s in it, and he is most like Kirby from SSB, in fact, the game is an exact replica OF SSB, only with different everything! I love this show a lot more than any other show on this planet! Thank you, CN, thank you.
Way better and had actual comedy, not just idiots doing stupid stuff. (I’m talking to you all things in top ten and adventure time. ) this had stuff that even adults laugh at
Love this show! It was creative, and hilarious. It also made me hungry. I can’t believe I used to hate this show. I love the animation style. It mixes 2D and stop motion and puppetry
In my opinion, this is the greatest Cartoon Network show since Codename: Kids Next Door. Sure, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and Camp Lazlo were good, but I haven’t rated a CN show this since KND.
We Bare Bears
An animated comedy show by Daniel Chong about three different species of bears – Grizzly, Panda and Ice bear (polar bear). Since they were little, they wanted to get adopted by owners separately. But then they missed each other too much, so they reunited again. Now as adults, they now live in a cave together in the forest, having heaps of great adventures.

We Bare Bears, in my opinion, is a good show. However, there is a terrible mistake that occurs frequently on the show, that is:
PANDA
Panda is a overly-sensitive, insecure and romantic bear who often tries and fails to be the voice of reason. Among the endless vault of mistakes existing in oneness as this blemish on a would-have-been great show is:
Paris Syndrome: Panda constantly dreams about the beautiful City of Lights but in his extremely small brain (if he has one), it is called the City of the Fulfillment of Panda’s Amorous Dreams or the City that was built specifically for the purpose of Panda’s Need to be loved by a girl. Sure French girls are sexy, Panda’s mind can’t handle more information other than romance.
In conclusion, We Bare Bears is a cool show, but Panda is a real JERK. But, I guess he may have some admirable qualities, he knows how to use technology, even if excessively.
Oh, this should definitely be on the top 20! At first I thought this was going to be a lazy attempt to appeal to the new generation, but this is a very well-paced show, with clever commentary regarding the addiction of media, the challenges in attempting to adapt in a big city and even a few messages regarding discrimination. I hope they make an episode about pure discrimination eventually, but it still remains a very intelligent and well thought out series. This is actually my favourite cartoon right now.
This show is the one of the better shows from CN from my life if you ask me. This has no dirty butt humor or excessive inappropriate scenes and stuff like that. The only reason this show is really low in the list is that (1 it was only made in July 2015 and (2 the show only comes on 10 times a week. This show along with a successful revival of The Amazing World of Gumball and Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, this channel would have high rates of views on the 3 shows and could rub on other future shows.
I’m not usually a fan of slice-of-life cartoons (Clarence and Powerpuff Girls 2016 are boring as hell), but We Bare Bears is able to make this simple concept of 3 bears so much fun. The stories are very interesting, the animation looks great, the theme song is great, and the writing is fantastic. I think this show should be at least #9 or #10 on this list, because it’s really good!
Pokemon
Pokémon, abbreviated from the Japanese title of Pocket Monsters and currently advertised in English as Pokémon: The Series, is a Japanese anime television series, which has been adapted for the international television markets. This show is literally my childhood, I watched Pokemon Pearl for countless years till it stopped running on T.V. I loved the fierce battles, the awesome characters, and of course the Pokemon! To be honest, the new ones are a joke, they make Ash seem so annoying! They also got rid of Brock, who was a pretty cool character, he was even in the original. I remember laughing so hard every time he fell, literally, for a girl.
As a kid I had Pokemon cards, toys, knick-knacks and even a Pikachu stuffie. And yes,to be honest, Pikachu was even my imaginary friend.
I started watching this summer and since then I haven’t missed an episode of the series xy I really like how clement is an inventor but every single invention he makes fails horribly. I also think team rocket should NOT try to steal pikachu even though it is hilarious how it fails every time. Easily the best Cartoon Network channel show.
I wish the Pokémon show would end it with ash. I am not saying that I hate the show but even after watching black and white, without watching any other seasons, I feel like ash got a little old, so the fact that he has been doing this for many previous seasons can lead e to the conclusion that this show need a change. I admit I LOVE Pokémon, but the anime seemed to get a little redundant, so I hope that they do a character switch after X and Y, introducing a main character(s) that is brand new.
I used to LOVE Pokémon growing up. The series from seasons 1-9 I enjoyed very much.
I was okay with Diamond & Pearl only because Ash’s rival, Paul, made it really fun to watch. Sure, Paul called Ash “pathetic” rather repeatedly throughout the series, but that rivalry is in the top 5 next to Ash/Gary. The Black & White series introduced me to newer characters.. Iris and Cilan.. I really didn’t enjoy. Iris called Ash a little kid.. while she’s afraid of ice types. Just because you’re a wannabe dragon master doesn’t mean you have to act like that towards ice types. Cilan was the one who annoyed me constantly. With his “delectable” adjectives.
X&Y.. Pokémon performing, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie, and so much more.. Ash didn’t have any good rivals AT ALL in X&Y. I couldn’t care less if he had a friendly one.. just give him a rival and add some conflict! I hated how X&Y decided to focus mainly on Serena half of the time. Ash’s gym battles are more exciting than her trashy …more
Ben 10
Ben 10 is a media franchise created by Man of Action Studios and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The franchise revolves around a boy named Ben Tennyson who acquires a watch-like alien device, the Omnitrix, which allows him to transform into ten different alien creatures.

Ben 10 was, is, and probably will forever be my favorite cartoon ever. It sparked my interest in making cartoons, and is the reason I am who I am. This show taught kids everywhere that you don’t always need powers to be a hero, you just need to be brave and committed. I can never sing this show’s praises enough.
The best thing my eyes saw. I INSTANTLY fell in love with the show the, amazing animation, the great and unique concept and of the storyline of the entire franchise along with unique abilities, the stakes, the humor, the drama following to its fourth series was an emotional, joyful, and satisfying ride.
Original Ben 10 is the Best Ben 10 Cartoon. Ben 10 Alien Force, Ben 10 Ultimate Alien, and Ben 10 Omniverse was Ok but the Original is the Best One. The Brand New Ben 10 Cartoon that came out Last Year 2016 is Ok but still the Original is the Best One. Ben 10 (2016) the Brand New Ben 10 Cartoon is the Worst Ben 10 Cartoon worse than Ben 10 Alien Force, Ben 10 Ultimate Alien, and Ben 10 Omniverse
Easily the best kids cartoon CN has EVER put out. Alien Force was great as well, but this was the best. Can I also take a second to state how AWFUL Omniverse was?
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
21
Which Scooby Doo show? Other than the original Scooby Doo from the 70’s, there are at least 4 different spinoffs. There’s “A Pup named Scooby Doo” (which was pretty good, even if Fred was always trying to pin it on that red haired bully he had a rivalry with), “What’s New Scooby Doo? ” (Which was the best spinoff as it felt like they took the original Scooby Doo and put them in a more modern setting and gave us some good straight to DVD movies (Scooby Doo and the witch’s ghost, Scooby Doo and the lock ness monster, Scooby Doo Vampire Rock, etc.)), “Scooby Doo, Mystery Inc.” (Which was pretty good, not the best, but still pretty good, although I was constantly rolling my eyes at Fred’s trap obsession) or “Shaggy and Scooby Doo get a clue” (A show that should be dosed with fire and destroyed in my own opinion. This show was more insulting as a spinoff than “Loonatics Unleashed”. At least “Loonatics Unleashed” was pleasing to look at and had some good characters, even if it didn’t feel …more
I loved the original Scooby Doo! I was the biggest fan! You could not have loved him more than me. I had every piece of Scooby Doo merchandise! I had a metre-high toy of him, scooby doo: quilt, paper, pen, cards, whistle, everything! Great show! I must say the new Mystery Inc is terrible! Professor Pericles is just the most preposterous villain ever! And NIBIRU as a storyline?! They totally ruined scooby doo! I hope the old version is rekindled.
It’s pretty original on a scale but the Cartoon Network spinoffs are basically the same thing, with a few minor differences like the different character every now and then. All and all though, it’s an original show that’s still fun to watch
Can’t believe this isn’t at least in the top 20 or top 10. This is different from other shows because it actually has songs in each episode. My favorite part in each episode is the chase scenes with the background song.
Total Drama Island
Total Drama Island is a Canadian animated television series which premiered in Canada on Teletoon on July 8, 2007 and on June 5, 2008 in the U.S.

Okay now THIS is one of the shows that deserves a higher ranking. this is the only show on cartoon network that seemed like an actual reality show, except animated. this has to be a 3 on the top 10 best shows I’ve watched on cartoon network, it is a great show that has you rooting for one of the characters to win the prize money. in my opinion this show is very emotion-provoking making you love or hate characters. overall this is a great show that deserves a higher ranking.
We don’t often get a show that pushes boundaries that the censors put in place and makes a show that just stands out, Sure it isn’t for everyone but it’s unique and makes people want to tune in every week just to cheer for their favorite character in hopes that they win the million. Even at its worst Total Drama Island and its sequels has kept us coming back for more.
With all its different characters with different personalities and all the show’s variety, this show deserves the number 1 spot. Its also the easiest show to relate to. We all want a million bucks and lets be honest, we would do anything for it. It’s the kind of show that makes you binge watch the entire series within two days after you watch the first episode.
TDI is actually hilarious. When I was younger, first watching it, I thought it was revolutionary in the survival tasks and the million. Then I heard of Survivor and other shows like it. TDI then became even better for me, because the amount of funny parody moments it has is unbelievable. Not Cartoon Network’s best, but definitely top 15.
Camp Lazlo
Camp Lazlo is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray and produced by his company Joe Murray Productions with Cartoon Network Studios.
23
How is ed, edd ‘n’ eddy in the top ten but camp lazlo isn’t! HOW! The show is really funny and a little educative. I’ve been watching camp lazlo seen the day it started in Cartoon Network and I think that the show should at least be on the top five!
This should be higher. It’s like a mix between Rocko’s Modern Life and SpongeBob in my opinion, and it’s a pretty good show.
This should be above Teen Titans Go!
This show is so underrated!
Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of Goku who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable character virtues such as teamwork, loyalty, and trustworthiness.

This show has action, story, characters, awesome things that blow up less awesome things! Everyone talks about classics, but this goes back to the 80,s. Cartoon Network started in 92. I mean yeah, I didn’t understand anything at all in this show at first. But
Once I started watching from a baby with a tail to a grown up god that doesn’t have a tail anymore, it just felt extremely awesome. The two Goku vs vegetables fights were awesome. A four hour battle between a monkey and a he/she alien thing. Then a pink fat ass that kinda looks like kirbs eats people with his body. Where do people come up with stuff like this? Out of all shows, this is the must see classic. It takes some getting used to trust me.
Dragon ball z has the best action in the world. Goku, gohan, goten, and trunks are the best characters in my opinion. This show is even appropriate for kids its T.V. pg. The DBZ characters have awesome transformations. No other anime has better action than DBZ I hope cartoon network can bring back the original DBZ in Hd. When you see this show you wont regret watching it. Buu saga and cell games are the best parts of DBZ! DBZ has many episodes. DBZ is number 1!
This my favourite show ever watched. It has very good story mode. The best character I like is Goku, vegeta, gohan. And the main thing I like this show is it gives ideas to real fighter that the more you fight and practice the more stronger you grow…that’s it.
Dragon Ball Z is one of the best anime/manga I’ve ever even witnessed in my entire life. It is very action-packed and has a lot of amazing characters. Some of my favorites are Goku, Vegeta, Nappa, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, And Vegito.
The Looney Tunes Show
25
I liked the original Looney Tunes Better.
Speaking of Looney Tunes, I got some classic Bugs Bunny Merrie Melodies shorts and some Looney Tunes Episodes. None of this not the best show is on my planner.
Actually not that bad, but not the best, but not the worst. Daffy Duck is a prick in this series and the songs in each episode may be cringy sometimes.
This show sucks compared to the original looney toons.
It was an okay show, but it really can’t be compared to the original.
