To what extent are electric vehicles a solution to global pollution? – Youth Voices

Let’s start by stating that global warming is basically temperature rising of the earth’s atmosphere caused by high level of carbon dioxide , chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. Now, we can conclude that cars contribute to air pollution by depositing gas throughout the muffler. The gas that comes out is pollution that traps heat around the earth. Electric cars have an electric motor instead of an internal combustion engine. The vehicle uses a large traction battery pack to power the electric motor and must be plugged in to a charging station or wall outlet to charge. Electric don’t completely solve air pollution but it’s less than normal cars.

If electric cars are more beneficial, why not making electric cars from now on to improve pollution?
