What a crazy day on GH today, the calm aspect that I enjoyed from yesterday was definitely missing today. The show was good though, but was still far from perfect. 

Let’s start with the okay stuff, as there was nothing that stood out as being extremely bad.

• Trey & Kristina: This was god awful. NuKristina was stuttering and spitting out all of her lines. It was classic “soap actors suck” type material. She was singing her lines and was clearly having trouble remembering them. Not only was the acting horrible, the dialogue was so annoying!  Kristina was falling all over Trey who has absolutely 0 interest in Kristina. The “let’s go swimming,” and “no, let’s go to the warehouse” banter literally went on for the duration of the episode! So annoying! 
• Alexis, Molly, & TJ: I love seeing the Davis girls together and having an actual family on the show, I really do. But the amount that Alexis overreacted really ruined it for me. TJ – who wears headphones while they are putting their swimsuit on? Alexis – TJ was in underwear that were longer than some people’s shorts, I mean, it’s not like he was wearing tighty whities, but even then I’m not sure her shrill scream would have even been warranted. I’m not quite sure why Molly didn’t tell her mother that they were planning to go swimming before Alexis even brought up sex. I mean, if she had ANY common sense she would want to get the idea out of her mothers head before she brought it up! The whole “I’m not going to get pregnant as a teen like you” stuff was annoying. Shouldn’t she know Alexis was raped? It was a mess and poorly acted, written, and directed.

The show did have some pretty good aspects today though.

• Todd, Heather, & Sam: Todd was actually going to tell Sam, but was stopped by Heather (of course). It made for good soap stuff, and any scene with Heather is usually a good one. The whole Robert Yi (guy who performed the JaSam wedding) stuff was beyond strange. Both actors seemed so awkward, and not in an intentional way. I thought it could have been really good, but it really was just alright. I find it laughable the Heather is in the other room screaming about Sam’s baby and Sam can’t hear it, is she deaf? The chinese food stuff made me laugh, everything was so dramatic and then sam just barges in with the food. Good chemistry between all of the actors with is why I liked this aspect of the show so much today. 
• Sonny, McBain, & JJ: I thought they all did a good job. I love how JJ tried to put the blame of Theresa’s death on John because he was a FED. Are you serious? What did he think McBain was going to say? “Oh, you’re right, I’m so sorry for trying to arrest you! You were completely justified when you killed her because it was all my fault!” I’m not sure what emotion Ron was trying to get out of us. I thought it was kinda laughable! Maurice Benard can be such a powerful actor when he’s not whispering. I really like the fact that McBain and Sonny had some sort of respect for each other because of their common enemy. I would like a McBain/Sonny friendship in the future – probably unlikely though. 

I liked the show again today! Nothing was horrible, and a few things were great! I do wish we saw more of the cast today, though. It was a heavy mob day! Where is the hospital?
