The Best Online Flower Delivery Service

Don’t underestimate the ability of flowers to turn someone’s day around. Whether you’re sending a bouquet to mark a holiday, celebrate a milestone, or make nice after an argument, we recommend The Bouqs Company as the best flower delivery service. We tested more than a dozen such services, and The Bouqs Company’s stylish arrangements were the most beautiful, the freshest, the most well packaged, and the easiest to order.

The Bouqs Company

The best online flower delivery service

Of all the services we tried, The Bouqs Company delivered the prettiest and longest-lasting arrangements. The cost isn’t cheap, but the reliable and intuitive website allows the most customization around price, delivery speed, and aesthetics.

Bouqs

Our testers were nothing short of delighted with the flowers they received from The Bouqs Company. The primary blooms were accented with botanical stems—snap dragons, berries, confetti-like craspedia—that presented like lovely flowers, not a bunch of artless filler like on many other bouquets we tried. Usually a few bruised buds, rumpled petals, or wilted stems is an unfortunate, if inevitable, part of receiving a flower delivery from a national chain, but our arrangements from The Bouqs Company were flawless and startlingly consistent. Our west coast recipient’s arrangement looked nearly identical to the two deliveries we ordered to the east coast—and when the bouquet arrived at our New York City photo studio, our unwitting photo team was unanimous in blind-identifying it as our new top pick. The flowers from The Bouqs Company just looked better, even to casual observers. Add to that reliable delivery, a clean, easy-to-use website, and the fact that it offers three price options (akin to small, medium, and large) for each bouquet, and you really won’t find a better delivery service.

Costco

More affordable, not quite as attractive

Costco’s flower arrangements are not quite as stylish as those from other companies we tested, but the blooms were fresh and lasted over a week. Importantly, the price is among the most affordable we found, and ordering is straightforward.

Costco

The floral arrangements from Costco aren’t as modern or stylish as those offered by The Bouqs Company, but they are pretty in a traditional way, and most of them cost far less than offerings from other services. Costco ships its flowers via different carriers, depending on location, and it sometimes offers next-day delivery on certain bouquets. Just keep in mind that Costco does not deliver Saturday through Monday, which means it may not be the best service for last-minute or weekend flower needs. The website is straightforward to use; however, during our 2022 testing, one of our Costco orders was canceled twice before it finally went through—a fluky, unexplained issue that, while annoying, ultimately didn’t prevent us from recommending this service. We’ll keep evaluating the ordering process for future updates. Generally, pricing is roughly 30% lower than most other services we considered and, unlike many, shipping is usually included. Though you don’t need a membership to order flowers from Costco, nonmembers pay a 5% surcharge, which we consider nominal.

Teleflora

For flowers in a hurry

These bouquets are classically pretty, and the site is easy enough to navigate. Unlike our other picks, Teleflora pulls from a network of local florists so it can deliver same-day.

Teleflora

Teleflora uses local florists to fulfill its orders. This means consistency across cities may vary, but it also means the company is able to deliver a large selection of flowers the same day you order. In our first round of testing, the Blush Rush bouquet we ordered was beautiful, and all of the flowers and filler in it smelled and looked great for a week. In 2022, we tried the Citrus Kissed arrangement and found the experience similar, if even more impressive. Ordering from Teleflora is straightforward, with the option to filter for occasion, color, same-day delivery, or flower type. Teleflora’s upfront pricing was somewhat misleading: Taxes and a $17 service fee ballooned the on-screen price by about $20. Still, if you need beautiful flowers sent the same day, Teleflora is a good option.
