The 10 best hostels in Hanoi from 5 USD/night | Trip.com
I traveled Vietnam for three weeks, and stayed in several places, but this is the only hotel that gave me a map and their calling card, and told me to call them if ever I encounter any problem while getting around Hanoi. As a female solo traveler, this is such a big deal, knowing there is someone I can ask for help if I need to. All the staff I met during my stay were great and speaks English well. I like the location because it is not in Old Quarter but close enough. I use Grab, the whole time but I think it would be easy to get a taxi as well, because it is along the main road. It is also near a bus stop where you can catch the bus to the airport. This is a budget hotel, so I was not expecting much. But I was surprised when I saw the room. It was very clean, with a large and comfortable bed. There is also a seating area and a closet to hang your clothes. The wifi works really well. They also provides room service, although limited choices. The only negative I think is that the wall is not soundproof, but I guess, that would be common in budget hotels. The free set breakfast was just simple meal, but good enough to start the day. Overall, I was very happy with my stay. Honestly, at first, I was hesitant to book this hotel, because of the bad reviews here in Tripadvisor, but I am very glad I took the chance. 🙂
