Our hosts were very friendly and made sure everything was to our liking. Check in was very easy due to a keybox. They exceeded our expectations by offering us a vegan breakfast (on very short notice by us) with a nice variety of spreads and even vegan cheese. It was possible to eat the breakfast outside in a cute little area – which was very delightful during our summer stay.
The room is quite spacious and a little bathroom with a big shower is attached. The bed was very comfortable which made it hard to get out at our agreed breakfast time.
The neighborhood is more of a suburban vibe – quiet and close to the countryside (with cows!!!). We explored Amsterdam by bike and advise you to do the same. It took us 20 minutes from Amsterdam centraal to the BnB Tulp, including a short but free ferry ride. If you need a bike, there is an information sheet in the room with rental bike prices.
We enjoyed our stay here very much and would highly recommend the BnB Tulp.
