The episodes provide personal stories and advice on how to navigate the many difficulties people may experience when their loved one is diagnosed. Most recently we had guests who gave options for facility placement if needed and a real estate person specializing in senior downsizing and even talked about multi generational home living situations.

Alzheimer/Dementia Family Fund: to assist families with mini grants for respite and medical care when a loved one first gets a diagnosis. Depending when the diagnosis is made it could be respite care needed for someone to be able to make appointments or visit the lawyer, financial planner, personal doctor’s visits, etc. If the diagnosis is made later on then the chance to find hospice or make other appropriate arrangements.
