With the college football season near, how can fans watch the SEC Network on DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner?

September marks the arrival of the latest college football season. With teams from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC and Pac-12 all in play for either major bowl games or a trip to the 2019 College Football Playoff, the next four months are bound to become interesting.

The SEC, however, dominates college football, as seen for the past decade-plus. Most of it comes from Nick Saban’s Alabama squad, who always sits in the race for the National Championship.

In 2018, Alabama and Georgia made the College Football Playoff National Championship game and put on an instant classic. This resulted in a mid-game quarterback change for the Crimson Tide and a subsequent touchdown-pass win as time expired.

In the fall of 2018, some fans might want a closer look at these Alabama and Georgia squads, along with the other SEC teams, to put a microscope on their seasons and see if they can return to prominence. That can be done through the SEC Network.

SEC Network channel on DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner

The SEC Network may not be a standard addition for all cable television packages, as it’s a special network, offered by ESPN. For those with DirecTV, Comcast or Time Warner, however, this should at least clear how the channel everyone can watch it on:

  • DirecTV: 611
  • Comcast: 792
  • Time Warner: 79

On the SEC Network, viewers will receive an in-depth look at each team from the conference in the 2018 season and how they potentially navigate their way through the polls and into the College Football Playoff picture. This includes a look at Saban’s latest Alabama squad if Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs can return to prominence and Gus Malzahn’s Auburn group.

Football in the Southeast starts with this network, and fans with interest in this conference should seek out a way to follow the action.
