The Roblox Blog (formerly known as the Community Blog[1] and the Roblox Developers’ Journal[2], sometimes referred to as the RoBlog) is where Roblox staff post about important news, events, and community-related topics. It was launched on December 8, 2006.[3] The blog can be found at blog.roblox.com. Its original tagline was “Improving and empowering Robloxians.”, but after the introduction of Roblox’s current logo, it was changed to “All the latest news direct from Roblox employees.”.

2012 blog split

Between January 7, 2012[4], the blog was split into two blogs. The Roblox (then stylized as ROBLOX) Corporation blog was the newer blog, while the Community Blog was the older one. Eventually, on February 6, 2012[5], the blogs were merged into the Community blog, and then the Corporation blog on or before February The Community blog used to be located at http://community.roblox.com, but this now redirects to the present day’s blog. All pages from both blogs are now all found in the current blog’s archives.
