Refurbished Cheap Laptops

For context, I’ve been limping along with a Dell Inspiron touch screen with 4 MB RAM. I’ve resented it since the day I found out (one month past it’s warranty) that it did not have an SSD as was advertised, but rather an HHD. Lately though, it had been worse than useless – frequently taking 10 – 15 minutes to get ready to do anything,and turning “unresponsive” every 3-4 minutes.
Enter the HP Spectre. I chose to buy refurbished because a brand new computer has a 12 month warranty, and so does the refurbished. So why buy new? The Spectre I purchased is about a year old, and retailed for $1100 – $1200. I got it for less than $700. It’s a freakin’ dream. I touch, it responds. It’s got a backlit keyboard, great battery life, keyboard feels great, super battery life, 16 MB RAM, and much lighter than the albatross I’ve had around my neck since 2018. Super satisfied!
