Our Meetings

We are a Las Vegas business networking group.  We allow one business per networking category to apply.  Don’t see your business category listed?  Then please join us next Thursday morning.

During the pandemic, our professional, dedicated membership maintained our group by meeting weekly via Zoom.  We averaged over 30 participants each meeting for 14 months.

We have one last Zoom meeting scheduled for Thursday 17 June.  After that we will be meeting weekly at the Omelet House on Charleston near Rancho.

Some restrictions are still in place.  We must arrive at 7:00 am, be seated and have ordered breakfast before 7:10 am plus we must conclude our meeting and leave the meeting room by 8:30am to allow the staff to clean the meeting room thoroughly.

She Puts Words to Work in a Puzzling Profession

It’s said that everyone’s born with a talent. Some of us are born carpenters; others are born dancers. Gail Marie is a born cruciverbalist.

A cruciverbalist, (kroo-suh-vur-buh-list), is a designer or aficionado of crossword puzzles. Gail Marie is both.

She wrote her first crossword in 1990 as a training tool for cable TV. It bothered her that co-workers would spell cable: C-A-B-E-L, so she developed a puzzle comprised of cable television terminology that couldn’t be completed unless you spelled everything correctly. After writing three training crosswords for the company, then getting requests for personalized puzzles, she broke away and started Custom Crosswords.
