The PlayStation Network, officially abbreviated as PSN, is an online service operated by Sony Interactive Entertainment as a feature on PlayStation systems since 2006. A PSN account is required to buy and download digital media. The PlayStation Network also has a premium system called PlayStation Plus, which a user can buy to get discounts on various media.

Media

The PlayStation Network has many types of media. The PSN has PS classic games, PS3/PSP/PSV games, shows, movies, wallpapers, and themes. Usually, all media costs a certain amount. A minimum charge of 5 USD must be purcashed if the media price is lower than 5 USD.

Trophies

Trophies are awards presented to gamers for hitting specific targets or reaching certain milestones in a game.
