Numeron Deck Guide: How to Play

Playstyle and Win Condition

Probably one of the easiest Decks to play in Master Duel — Numeron Decks generally have the same setup and execution which was made for going second: search out your Field Spell Numeron Network and use it to copy the Effect of Numeron Calling to Special Summon your four Numeron Gate Xyz cards onto the field.

All Numeron Gate Xyz Monsters have the same effect, that they cannot be destroyed by Battle, and if they Battled an oponent’s Monster, the ATK of all Numeron Monsters on the field are doubled.

Basically, continue attacking your opponent until you have a field of 8000ATK Monsters to finish the duel.

Sample Combo

Required Cards

Numeron Wall or Planet Pathfinder or Numeron Network

Step
Description

Going Second → Normal Summon Planet Pathfinder or Numeron Wall → Activate their Effect to search for Numeron Network from the Deck and send it to the Hand, or onto the field. Alternatively, if you have Numeron Network in the hand, simply set it on the Field Spell zone.

Activate Numeron Network‘s Effect → Target Numeron Calling from your Deck and send it to the GY, now Numeron Network‘s Effect now, when activated will be the Effect of Numeron Calling

Special Summon Number 1: Numeron Gate Ekam, Number 2: Numeron Gate Dve, Number 3: Numeron Gate Trini, and Number 4: Numeron Gate Catvari onto the field using Numeron Network‘s Effect.

Now simply Attack your Opponent’s Monster that’s already on the field and watch all your Numeron Gate‘s ATK double. → Keep attacking until you finally destroy your opponent.

This Numeron Deck and, generally all Numeron Decks are meant to go second, hence the plentiful array of Hand Traps, and Counters to try and limit your opponent’s movements.

Lava Golem and Gadarla, the Mystery Dust Kaiju are there to get rid of those pesky Monsters your opponent may Summon.

However, if you cannot destroy your opponent in one turn, you have multiple options to move forward.

You can Link Summon Apollousa, the Bow of the Goddess or Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax using the four Numeron Gate Monsters on the Field, to help bid you time to survive one more turn to try again.

Alternatively, during your second Main Phase, you can Xyz Summon Number C1: Numeron Chaos Gate Sunya using Number 1: Numeron Gate Ekam as material. Once summoned, you can activate its Effect to banish ALL monsters on the field. Then, on your next Standby Phase, you can Special Summon Number C1: Numeron Chaos Gate Sunya from the Banish Pile, and then deal damage directly to your opponent equal to the ATK of all banished Xyz Monsters.

A great card to use against Numeron Decks by locking out your opponent from Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summoning unless they use it as a material.

PSY-Framegear Gamma

A hand trap that can be used to negate the effects of your opponent’s Numeron Deck especially when used against the different Monsters that are used to search for Numeron Network, like Planet Pathfinder or Numeron Wall.

Prohibition

Prohibition

Using Prohibition and naming Numeron Calling will put a halt on Numeron Deck‘s ability to summon all Numeron Gate Cards onto the field. But best to use as soon as you know your opponent is using a Numeron Deck.
