This program offers to the students a technical training and a basic foundation designing, installing, configuring and supporting a computer network. Our graduates are ready to get positions as entry-level in System Administrator, Network Administrator, LAN Administrator, and Help Desk Support. The program also includes a fifteen-credit-hour component of General Education/Liberal Arts courses and offers the foundation necessary to continue onto a Bachelor’s Degree. The university awards an Associate of Science Degree upon graduation.

The Networking System Administrator Associate Degree program provides you with the classroom lectures and hands-on experience you need to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network security systems. You will also learn about network protocols, services, and hardware, how to plan and design networks, implementing security measures, and managing operations.

Classes will focus on both Windows and Linux, as well as configuring and managing various network tools, such as firewalls, routers, and switches. Florida National University prepares you for a rewarding career as a network administrator with the Networking System Administrator Associate Degree program.
