Yes the full recipes & measurement of ingredients in each bag are provided in every box so you can remake the dessert on your own! Many of our bakers save the recipes and add them to their recipe boxes to remake later 🙂

Hi Ashley! The December Box will NOT contain any ingredients that need to be refrigerated or will go bad. Q: This box is a Christmas gift for my son so I’d like to wrap and place under the tree, is this possible??? Does it contain any products that will spoil or go bad that I need to open right away?Asked by Ashley P., November 2019

Hello, We do not offer a special nut free box every month. With that, all of the nuts are packaged in their own separate bag so it is easy to omit the nuts in the dessert (always optional). If you have a severe allergy, we process and package all of the ingredients in our facility where there are nut products (peanut butter, tree nuts, etc.).

Q: I’d like to order the boxes for my daughter who has a tree nut allergy. Can we get recipes without nuts? or options for no nut recipes? Asked by Anissa W., December 2019

We do not include perishable items, but we occasionally include fresh fruit. We provide 1-3 day shipping so the items are always fresh on arrival

My only “complaint” (and its probably my fault) is that I wish I had known what I needed ahead of time….. like buttermilk and a certain pan. That may have been listed, but I missed it. (Or maybe it’s a given but we’re new to the “baking world”)
Aside from that, I am SO FREAKING PLEASED with this box!!! I’ve never gotten or gifted a “box” of any kind and I bought my bf (who recently discovered he likes to bake-at 39 years old) the cinnamon bun box for his birthday. It’s packaged beautifully!!! It arrived quickly!!! He absolutely loved it! We haven’t made it yet because it JUST arrived today and we need buttermilk and a pan, but everything about this box is fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Even opening the box, it was a whiff of cinnamon and beautifully wrapped ingredients. I’m sure the taste will be wonderful too! Thank you so, SO much!!! This may become a monthly thing for us now!

The mix box for February – frosted sugar cookies – was a huge disappointment. Our frosting never came together correctly and we were forced to use externally purchased frosting. We reviewed the instructions numerous times to ensure we were following them correctly, but our frosting was never more than a big pile of powdered sugar.

Oh no I am so sorry the frosting didn’t turn out perfectly! We have tested this recipe multiple times so I am not sure what happened here! If the frosting was too thick, you just needed to add more milk to make the frosting spreadable (listed in instructions) An electric mixer is required for this frosting, the only other thing would be if the 1 stick (8 Tbsp) softened butter wasn’t soft enough. If I can help further please let me know!

I ordered 3 boxes as a gift for my mom (69) to make with my daughter (6). My mom loves baking, but she was in a rut and constantly making the same few cookies to mail to friends and was getting bored. She is someone who buys baking cookbooks and tears out new cookie recipes from magazines, but she cannot drive anymore and was getting frustrated with having to plan ahead so much for other people to buy ingredients. I thought a subscription baking box would give her new ideas and the ingredients are mailed to her so a win-win!
We have gotten 2 boxes so far and both were excellent. Its a great box all around. My only complaint is that there are still items that need to be purchased because fresh items are not included. I love the cookies with cranberries, but we still had to purchase fresh cranberries to include (I think it would have been nice to include dried cranberries and then suggest the customer can replace with fresh if they want). We are loving the chocolate chip bread for January, but had to go out and buy sour cream since its not necessarily something we have “on hand” in the fridge.
The recipes are easy to follow, and very tasty. We will be getting one more box, and then I am likely to purchase another few months of boxes because my mom and daughter have enjoyed making the recipes together.
