Mitsubishi Electric

Mitsubishi Electric is the Japanese multinational electronic company that founded on January 15, 1921. Mitsubishi Electric consists of air-conditioning systems, high-end electronics and home appliances, elevators, escalators and factory automation system. It is the electronics company on Mitsubishi’s core companies.

The “Blue MITSUBISHI” logo was devised to used in Japan to provide the sense of individualism of Mitsubishi Group. In January 11, 2014, Mitsubishi Electric in Japan stopped to using this Blue MITSUBISHI logo in favor of single logo.

2001–present (International), 2014-present (Japan)

On the commemoration of the company on 80th anniversary, the corporate philosophy is re-evaluated and the slogan is revised to “Changes for the Better” as a consistent message both Japan and overseas. The “Blue Mitsubishi” logo continued to use outside Japan, when overseas using the complete “MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC” logo with three-diamonds. This purposed for distinctiveness of Mitsubishi Group.

Mitsubishi Electric in Japan started to using this single red-three diamond corporate logo that previously used outside Japan since January 15, 2014. The Blue MITSUBISHI logo that used in Japan have been scrapped in this rebranding.
