The Las Vegas Raiders came into existence as a charter member of the AFL in 1960 and joined the NFL as part of the merger in 1970. The team, under the leadership of Al Davis, then moved to Los Angeles in 1982 and played there through the 1994 season. The Raiders won their lone AFL Championship in 1967, and have also won fifteen division titles (3 AFL and 12 NFL), four AFC Championships (1976, 1980, 1983 and 2002) and three Super Bowl Championships (XI, XV and XVIII).
