JetBlue Flights – Cheap Flights & Best Deals | FareCompare
Headquartered in Long Island, JetBlue serves many destinations in North America and the Caribbean. They are the 5th largest airline in the United States. As of 2016, JetBlue is one of two airlines in the United States with a four-star rating from Skytrax, along with competing airline Virgin America. They were the first domestic airline to offer DIRECTV for every seat. We approve.
You get two flying experiences to choose from with JetBlue: The Core Experience or The Mint Experience. The Core Experience offers not only DIRECTV, but also free broadband Internet, access to content partners like WSJ and Amazon and extra legroom. The Mint Experience is their version of first class, as you’ll arrive in ‘mint condition’ when you land – get it? You’ll have a small plates menu, nonstop entertainment per usual, a lie-back seat (sometimes with your own door) and amenities like a Birchbox amenity kit, in-seat power and early boarding, to name a few. Their motto of “You Above All” is ringing true with their flying style for the passenger and their On-Time Arrival Performance from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics is sitting nicely at 75.22%.
In 2008, they opened a mostly-new terminal at JFK airport in the historic TWA Flight Center; a nice head nod to preserving some history while utilizing the space. JetBlue’s focus cities are Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Boston (BOS), San Juan (SJU) and Orlando (MCO). Their frequent flyer program is called TrueBlue. As of 2016, they employ 18,000 people and counting. They even have their own hotel for employees who are in Orlando for training. You can find information on JetBlue baggage fees, or compares fares for JetBlue flights now with FareCompare.
