If you travel with registered baggage, make sure that your bag’s weight does not exceed 50 pounds (23 kg). Passengers are allowed to bring 1 personal item (like laptop bag, purse or briefcase) and 1 carry-on bag free of charge. JetBlue luggage size and weight should not exceed: 17 x 13 x 8 inches (43.2 x 33 x 20.32 cm) for personal items, and 22 x 14 x 9 inches (55.88 x 35.56 x 22.86 cm) for carry-on luggage. Hand-luggage doesn’t have weight restrictions however it should be light enough to be lifted into the overhead lockers without assistance. Additional items such as duty-free shopping, a coat, an umbrella or infant car seats are also permitted.
What are JetBlue baggage fees?
Depending on the class you’ve booked into, there are different JetBlue baggage fees. First checked-in bag is free of charge for the passengers of Blue Plus and Mint, as well as Mosaic and JetBlue Plus cardmembers. Second checked-in bag is included in the price of Mint and Mosaic air tickets. In other JetBlue fare classes a fee of $30 applies for the first bag, $40 for the second bag and $150 for the third bag.
What can you bring in your carry-on JetBlue
Take the things that bring you comfort: a neck pillow, a cardigan to wrap around, a book you love, or your favourite snack. If you bring liquids, make sure they are in 100 ml bottles.
