How to Watch Daniel Tiger Online
Daniel Tiger was a small, furry puppet voiced by Fred Rogers on “Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood,” the phenomenally popular PBS show that ran from 1968 to 2001. In 2012, he came back as an animated character with a family and friends on Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Although the format is different, the show still has the same focus on emotional intelligence and kind consideration of others. Season 6 of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood premieres on Monday, September 5.
You can watch the show for free by tuning into PBS with an antenna if you have one. But modern-day preschoolers probably won’t understand having to wait to see a show they love. Almost every one of the almost-100 episodes of Daniel Tiger is available without cable, read on for more on how to watch.

Don’t get too attached, however, since those episodes change every so often.
About Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood
“When you feel so mad that you want to roar, take a deep breath- and count to four” – so goes one of the popular tunes from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Of course, it’s advice that is excellent for anybody to take, regardless of age – which is one reason why the show has gained such a following. While there are many kids’ shows that feature educational lessons, Daniel Tiger is one of the few to focus primarily on how to manage emotions – arguably one of the most important milestones to reach when young. How, for instance, do you deal with disappointment when you don’t get the toy you want right away? Or when you are jealous of the attention given to your little sister? These lessons are spelled out in Daniel’s adventures, often in song form.
I’ve often thought that if more adults learned the songs in Daniel Tiger, the world might just be a kinder and gentler place. Fortunately, you can catch many of the songs for free on YouTube – whether or not you have your child with you.
