Overview
Create and modify the HTML Blog and its Posts with Nicepage. Export the content to WordPress and Joomla if needed.
The following example shows how Posts will look on a website.
Add Posts
You can add the Blog Post from the Add Panel.
Manage Posts
Add and edit Posts, which appear in the Blog Posts Element added to a Block on a Web Page.
Create a Blog Page
To show your Post on an HTML site, you need to create a Blog Page.
- Create a Blank Page
- Rename it to ‘Blog.’
- Add a Blank block or use Blog presets.
- Add the Blog Posts element to a block.
Link to Blog Page
Add a link to the Blog page in the Edit Link Dialog and Site Menu. It works in the Applications, WordPress Plugin, and Joomla Extension.
The HTML Blog will look like the following.
Link to Post Pages
You can also add a link to HTML Posts in the Edit Link Dialog and Site Menu.
Blog Posts Element
You can use the Blog Posts Element in a Block of an existing page, such as Home or a new page.
Manage Posts
Use the Manage Posts Button in the Context Toolbar for the selected Blog Posts Element. It will make it easier for you to access the HTML Posts in the Windows and Mac OS Desktop Applications.
Edit Posts
Use the Post Edit Button for the selected item of the Blog Posts Element.
We have also added the same Post Edit Button for the Post Details Element.
Post Featured Image
Set the Featured Image for a Blog Post in HTML.
For your convenience, you can change the Featured Image by clicking on the Change Image icon for the selected Post in the Editor. You can also edit the Featured Image by clicking on the Change Image Button in the Property Panel.
Blog Block Presets
We have reworked the Blog Posts’ Block Presets by adding more presets for the Blog Posts Element and diversifying the list.
Blog Templates
Post Template
Edit the layout for your HTML Posts by customizing the Theme -> Post Template.
The exported posts use the layout of the Post Template, for example.
Blog Posts Template
NOTE: To use this Project for WordPress and Joomla exports, you can edit the Theme -> Blog Template. You can skip this section for the HTML Blog.
Export HTML Blog
Choose the Include Blog Posts option in the Export dialog, and you will have the HTML Posts exported to the Blog folder.
You will find the Blog folder in the exported file.
