Here are all the best Steam Summer Sale video game deals for 2021.

The Steam Summer Sale is back, running from June 24th – July 8th with hundreds—maybe thousands—of games on sale to add to your ever-expanding backlog. Hey, you may not get to them right away but at least they’re cheap!
The Steam Summer Sale has lost, er, steam in recent years thanks to the amount of subscription services and free games available these days. You can subscribe to Xbox Game Pass or Amazon Prime or PlayStation Plus and get new “free” games every month. Free-to-play titles like Fortnite and PUBG dominate the charts.
But for those of whose who still enjoy owning our games, and single-player titles with great campaigns and stories, the Steam Summer Sale is a great way to catch up on titles we missed or new games we haven’t even heard about.
The following list only has one thing in common: Every game is on sale at the time of publication. Otherwise, it’s quite wide-ranging, with titles from various genres including first-person shooters, co-op RPGs and third-person action-adventure games.
Some of these are award-winning critical darlings like Dead Cells or Hades. Others are classics like Halo or newer titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and more obscure indie titles like Olija.
Something for everyone, hopefully, though I did not go out of my way to represent all genres. Big strategy games and puzzlers are not included, not because I didn’t mean to but because by the time I hit 25 games I decided to call it quits. I may round up other titles for a second list before the sale is over. If you have some games that are currently on sale that you think deserve some attention, let me know on Twitter!
