Hario Electro Solo Electric Hand Grinder Attachment
Hand Grinding Made Easy
The compact and rechargeable Hario Electro Solo was designed to make manual grinding, and therefore the process of making coffee, less laborious because some mornings call for more immediate coffee. The Solo is essentially a plastic hand drill with a steel hex socket that fits perfectly atop the driveshaft of Hario grinders, including the Slim Pro and Plus, Skerton Pro, and newer Smart G and Prism, turning them into simple electric grinders. The Solo comes with two plastic stabilizers, or holders, that fit on top of some Hario models, effectively securing drill to grinder, keeping both in place and allowing one-handed operation at all grind settings and with all bean densities. The lithium ion battery that powers the Solo lasts for about thirty minutes of work (which is roughly 30 grinding sessions), although it will depend on the coarseness of the grind, and charges in as little as three hours with the included micro-USB cable. The package also includes a black Hario travel bag and two stabilizers (one for the Slim series grinders and one for the Smart G grinder). The Solo is especially helpful for those who find it difficult to grip and/or crank the handle of manual grinders.
