My first time taking Grayhound from Union Station—-this occurred following a 15 hour flight from Israel and as an alternative to taking a costlier means of transportation. I give Grayhound a two thumbs up for a smooth ride that got me where I needed to go with little expense on my part. Friendly and clean, I would definitely choose Grayhound again.

Overall the experience was a good one. Our driver was very nice and informed us of when the different stops were coming up and kept us updated on our time of arrival to NYC. The only thing that wasn’t great was that the wifi on the bus didn’t work

The service was appauling, there wasnt any at the service desk at all, the staff were rude, not helpful at all when trying to ask for help!!! We had our 9 year old Child with us on the bus, and the toilet was locked the whole Journey to San Antonio, when asked the drive for a key he snapped at me saying it isnt locked nothing i can do about it, his name was Eddie and he was very rude abrupt and un helpful we would Not recommend this bus line to any one, the service as a whole needs a good looking at!!!

40$ for bustang bus and the driver said my seat was not guaranteed. He was letting people with bustang tickets first and cash 12$ tickets buyers. My reservation of the seat and 2 bags meant nothing to the driver. I had to beg him to accept me on the bus…I almost missed my flight. I was very stressed and it was a horrible and shady business of yours!

Coaches are comfortable and clean. Staff are pleasant and courteous, but inconsistent in making announcements/ instructions regarding boarder crossing procedures which can be mysterious to first-time passengers. Unlike the driver on my Dec. 19th trip from Toronto to Buffalo, who provided wonderfully clear and informative instructions, the Jan. 30th trip from Buffalo to Toronto driver offered few instructions. Luckily, I was able to advise other passengers what to do.

I understand that the ticket was nonrefundable, but the company should’ve been able to work with me as far as allowing me to catch the next bus and also very ridiculous because I was at the station earlier just to be told I couldn’t catch the bus due to only having $137 on card and need 138.99 on card and they couldn’t accept the $2 extra dollars in cash

It was my first trip by bus and the driver forced me to stop in Biltmore where I don’t anyone there instead of Silver Spring where I got Ticket. So it affected my appointment and I had to pay a extra money.

I didn’t realize that Greyhound does not provide handicap seating. The bus operator would not allow me to sit in the seats designated handicap. Instead, he directed me to the back. Instead, he hung his jacket in the handicap seating area.

My worst traveling experience so was with the Greyhound bus. The last stop over at Raleigh which was supposed to last for 20 minutes lasted for more than 3.5hrs. No proper communication from the staff. We got to Raleigh at 10:47 pm (just about 25 minutes to my destination, Durham) and tiill past 1 AM no information was given as to why we weren’t moving. I later discovered that the bus was cancelled after >2 hrs of waiting. Eventually, I took Uber from Raleigh to my destination. This is so painful an experience.

Okay, so the bus arrived slightly late at Lynchburg . So, on getting to Richmond, the connecting bus to Durham had left, I was left with no choice and compled to sit out for over 2hr. The ride that was scheduled to pick me up at Durham for 1pm had to be cancelled.
The Bus Drivers I must admit were all excellent, especially the one from Lynchburg to Richmond and Raleigh to Durham. And I want to mention the GreyHound counter attendant at Richmond ( she deserves a bouns)…she was so kind and sweet to everyone cos I observed her for a long while, and with passengers who didn’t understand English, she used her phone translator to explain and she never lost her cool or expressed any for of exasperation even when the passengers still didn’t understand. She did very well.

Great experience. The only exception is that the loader who assists the driver is way too aggressive and rude. He does a great job loading the luggage on the bus, but my suitcase was damaged when I got to Savannah. I think he is trying to do such a good job, that he is not aware that he is damaging people’s belongings.

I was very upset, as I missed the bus, although I was at the station 45 minutes before departure. I didn’t understand the announcement that one of the stops was St. Augustine. The speaker sound was very loud and distorted. I went to the counter to get a pass for my luggage 5 minutes before departure and was told the bus had already left. The woman at the counter was very rude when I said that it wasn’t 5:20 yet. However, she offered to reschedule my ride for the next bus at 8:45 pm for $20.00 CASH. I thought it was very strange that she couldn’t take a debit card, as I didn’t have enough to cash on me.

The drivers are great and the price was right, but the fact that many of their stops are curbside – with no place to seek shelter – is upsetting to say the least. This is my second trip with Greyhound and both times buses were late, the ‘conveniences’ were not as described, and the starting locations were sketchy places.
