Set up a free Pinterest business account to get access to analytics on your Pins and the ability to run ads.

If you’ve never used Pinterest before or would like to create a business account that’s separate from your personal account and uses a different email, you can create a new business account.

If you have an existing personal Pinterest account and would like to connect your personal and business accounts to easily sign in with the same email, you can either create a linked business account or convert your personal account into a business account.

Personal and business accounts on Pinterest are similar, but business accounts include features that are helpful to business owners and marketers. These include things like the Pinterest Business Hub and Pinterest Analytics, where you can review your Pins’ performance. With a business account, you can also become a merchant and upload catalogs. 

Business accounts allow you to create all forms of Pins, while a personal account allows you to create only static and Idea Pins. Both types of accounts allow you to create boards and engage with other users on the platform. However, a Pinterest personal account does not allow you to view the analytics on your Pins. 

Create a new business account

Create a new business account that’s not connected to any other Pinterest accounts.

To create a new business account, the email you use to sign up must not already be in use on an existing Pinterest account.
