Ryanair online check-in is encouraged. By far the majority of Ryanair’s passengers do their online check-in process via the company’s website, but it is also possible to do this via a smart device app that the airline has developed. This is available for download by iOS and Android users. Early check-in is offered by Ryanair for passengers who have also chosen to purchase the particular seat they wish to occupy. In such circumstances, it is possible to use either the app or the website to confirm your check-in up to 30 days ahead of the flight. Standard check-in, which is offered without an additional fee, is possible from four days ahead of your departure. All that is needed is to enter your six-digit reservation number and to confirm. You will then be given a boarding pass which you can either print out or store on your mobile device to use at the gate.
Although nearly all of Ryanair’s services use online check-in to confirm flights, it is not possible everywhere. If you are flying on a Ryanair service from Agadir, Essaouira, Fez or Nador, then it is not possible to use an online check-in process. The same currently applies to flights out of Oujda, Marrakesh, Rabat, Tangier, Kefalonia and Volos.
