This Seiko Business-A has a White sunburst dial with applied raised faceted indices. Case is super robust. It is pretty clean for a 56-year-old watch. The movement has been cleaned, oiled, and SERVICED with a master watchmaker, it’s keeping excellent time. It has been tested with timegrapher. One of the biggest watches of its era at 38mm. Date complication. This is a beast under sunlight, pictures don’t do justice to this beauty. They were designed to have premium build quality but within regions of Japan, this is an all JDM piece. Handling this, I can definitely guarantee this is far above any modern watches in the same price zone. Collector’s piece despite its age. With sharp sword dauphine hands this has the same essence of grand and king seikos. It has a superior profile variation high dome Hardlex crystal crystal out of the series. Comes with OEM Beads of rice BOR signed bracelet and a handmade strap.

This is from the era when Seiko first started the grammar of design was to be minimal and simple with superior movements. It was targeting the youth business market. It was released as part of a drive by Seiko to expand its Seikomatic range into the business market. The design of this model is significantly more different from its competitor Omega Seamaster. The extended lug, alternative Polish and Brush finish watch case makes this beautiful Seiko look modern even in today’s standard. The minimal and easy-going design of this makes it one of the perfect choices for an everyday wear.
