Chief Administrative Officer or “CAO” means the administrative head of a municipality as appointed by Council under clause 86(2)(c) of the Municipal Government Act.

CFO means an individual who acted as chief financial officer of the Company, or acted in a similar capacity, for any part of the most recently completed financial year;

Chief Medical Officer means the medical director in charge of a public or private hospital, or the director’s physician-designee. This chapter does not negate the authority otherwise reposed by chapter 226 in the respective superintendents of the state mental health institutes to make decisions regarding the appropriateness of admissions or discharges of patients of those institutes, however, it is the intent of this chapter that a superintendent who is not a licensed physician shall be guided in these decisions by the chief medical officer of the institute.

Chief means Chief Agri/Industrial, a division of Chief Industries, Inc.

Chief Financial Officer means a person designated in terms of section 80(2) (a) of the MFMA;

Financial Officer means the chief financial officer, principal accounting officer, treasurer or controller of the Borrower.

President means the President of the Corporation.

Executive Officer means, with respect to any corporation, the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, President, Executive Vice President, any Vice President, the Secretary or the Treasurer of such corporation; and with respect to any partnership, any general partner thereof.

Vice President when used with respect to the Company or the Trustee, means any vice president, whether or not designated by a number or a word or words added before or after the title “vice president”.

Chief Procurement Officer or “CPO” means the chief procurement officer of the City of Chicago or his or her designee.

Chief Compliance Officer means the individual appointed by the Board as BSEF’s chief compliance officer in accordance with the Operating Agreement, with the duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time as set forth in Rule 208.

Nodal Officer means the Dy.Chief Engineer or Superintending Engineer an officer appointed by the Chief Engineer in writing who shall direct and supervise and to perform the duties set forth in sub – Clause 3.2 hereof and be in-charge of the works.

Police officer means every officer authorized to direct or regulate traffic, or to make arrests for violations of traffic regulations.

Deputy President means the member of Exco duly elected to that position.
The District’s Assistant Superintendent, Chief Business Officer , or the District Designee are authorized to take final action on behalf of the District relating to a bid protest and will provide the Bidder submitting the bid protest with a written statement concurring with or denying the bid protest (“Bid Protest Disposition”).

Any dispute arising under the terms of this Contract which is not resolved within a reasonable period of time by authorized representatives of the Contractor and the CSU shall be brought to the attention of the Chief Executive Officer (or designated representative) of the Contractor and the Chief Business Officer (or designee) of The CSU for joint resolution.
A determination that a proposal is non-responsive must be approved by the Chief Business Officer before notice may be sent out that the proposal has been rejected.
With the written permission of the Chief Business Officer of the institution involved, a contract may be instituted in an “emergency” situation by waiving the necessary advertising or bidding requirements of this chapter.
Documentation for such purchase or acquisition must be made for record and approved by the Chief Business Officer of the institution.
Nepotism:No employee shall approve any contract with or purchase any goods or services from any immediate family member without disclosure to and approval of the Chief Business Officer .
Any dispute arising under or resulting from this Contract that is not resolved within 60 days of time by authorized representatives of Contractor and CSU shall be brought to the attention of Contractor’s Chief Executive Officer (or designee) and CSU’s Chief Business Officer (or designee) for resolution.
The Chief Business Officer of University, or the other officer of University as may be designated from time to time by University by written notice thereof to Contractor in accordance with the notice provisions in this Agreement, will examine Contractor’s claim and any counterclaim and negotiate with Contractor in an effort to resolve the claims.
