Cheap Eats in New York
I spend a lot of time in the Washington Square area because I study a lot in Bobst Library. I often do not bring lunches to school because it is hard to carry a lot of things. Okay I lied, it is because I am not so great at cooking. However, this has helped me develop my detective-like instincts when it comes to scoping out delicious and affordable food.
My typical budget is within $10, however, I will often make exceptions depending on the food. My monthly spending on lunches is estimated to be around $300 because occasionally I will bring food to school. If you are looking for inexpensive places to go near our campus, you are in luck! I have curated a list of my go-to cheap eats places in New York. To make this list even better, the majority of them are located around Washington Square campus, with a few bonus spots in midtown and lower Manhattan area. Their price range is around $8 – $15.
