Our standard size for business cards is 3.5” x 2” which is the perfect size for corporate executives or business owners who want to easily store and share their contact information. We also provide a slimmer size of 3.5” x 1.75”. This is slightly smaller than the standard U.S. size (3.5” x 2”), but has a wider yet thinner rectangular shape. How thick is a business card?

Our cardstocks have three thickness levels: 14 pt., 16 pt., and 17 pt. Our 14 pt. cardstock is the most popular choice. It’s substantial enough for double-sided printing, and you can write on it with any pen or pencil. On the other hand, our 16 and 17 pt. cardstock options are thicker, more durable, ink-absorbent, and resistant to folds, creases, scratches, and scruffs.

Do you offer materials that aren’t cardstock?

Plastic business cards are made of 20 pt. plastic that’s slightly thinner than a credit card. This material is tear- and waterproof, and also less prone to bending.

How do I pick a business card layout?

You can select a business card layout through the Layout Templates tab in the page of your chosen business card. From there you can download a ZIP file of templates for the size you prefer, whether in horizontal or vertical orientation.

If I add a special finish to my card (like embossed gloss or foil accent), will it be on both sides?

Yes. You can request to have your design printed on one or two sides. Just don’t forget to choose that option in the online calculator.

How to use your design templates?

We have an intuitive online design tool called Create48. This allows users to select from hundreds of free design templates that they can customize according to their preferences. With this tool, they can add text and logos, change the fonts and color palettes and more. Once they’re content with their design, they can easily transfer it to their shopping cart and checkout their order. They also have the option to save a draft of their design when they click My Account.

What is the fastest printing time available?

Some business cards are printed in one business day. Note that printing turnaround refers to the time it takes to produce your order. Your business cards will be ready for shipping after your preferred printing turnaround time.

Is there a minimum quantity to qualify for an order?

The minimum quantity depends on the type of business card. You can order as few as 25 business cards in die cut and circle. Other kinds such as custom business cards come in quantities of 100, while foil requires a minimum of 500 cards per order.
