A PC case that has a separate compartment for the power supply on the bottom of the PC case is beneficial as it makes hiding the extra cables easier, as well as makes cable mounting easier too.

The power supplies can produce quite a lot of heat and have a barrier in between your GPU, CPU, and the motherboard does help with the temperatures.

To prevent the temperature of the power supply to raise, there is a mesh hole at the bottom of the case from which your power supply can draw air as most of the power supplies are designed to exhaust out the back.

Having this barrier in between should lower the heat transference from the power supply.

For cable routing, the Cougar MX330 may not be the best PC case, but this PC case does have some routing features that are available to route the cables nicely.

The Cougar MX330 PC case has space for five fans, but if you are going to be installing a DVD/RW drive, this takes up one of the fan openings.

However, you can easily install four fans in this PC case by mounting two fans in the front, one on top, and one on the rear (it comes with a 120mm fan already installed on the back of the case).

The main reason why we chose this case for this 300 dollar gaming PC is because of the space it provides and the airflow it can give the users.

The price is quite reasonable for the PC case, but it still is not too much that it goes over our total budget of 300 dollars. The case provides the users with the right amount of space while it also has a beautiful design.

A separate compartment for the power supply helps with hiding the extra cables to provide a cleaner look. The side window of the Cougar MX330 gives a fresh look while it also lets everyone have a peek inside the PC case to see the hardware components in there.

All of this makes the Cougar MX330 one of the best options for a PC case in this budget.
