Hi! Hi! Hi, guys! I’m part of a group of fantastically creative bloggers that get together every month to DIY something around a theme.

This month we all shared our Build It Cheaper Than Buying it Furniture. And, I get to share some of those great Beautiful & Budget-Friendly DIY Furniture Plans with you guys. Yay!

These plans are just a small example of some really fantastic ways you can save money building your own furniture. If you’ve always wanted to try woodworking. Go for it.

A couple of the bloggers in the group shared their first ever builds and they did a great job. And, only spent around $30 on the lumber.

The best part about woodworking is that you get better and better the more you build. So, it can be an affordable hobby that also helps you get a house full of furniture that you’ve actually made and love.

Two Feet First has a great tutorial to build this West Elm Knock Off Bookshelf for about $100. West Elm sells there’s for $1,000, guys!

This DIY Farmhouse Console Table makes a beautiful console table, entry table or behind the couch table. And, you can have fun with the paint colors, like the bold colors I use on a lot of my Budget-Friendly DIY Furniture Plans.

My DIY Kids Play Kitchen will save you hundreds of dollars over the similar, but smaller, kitchens at Pottery Barn. And, it’s super cute.

Girl, Just DIY built this great DIY Modern End Table similar to a Crate and Barrel Design, for just $30.

Here’s a simple DIY Laundry Table that completely changed my Laundry Room to a beautiful space with a folding area and a drop spot for mail and keys. And, it hides those ugly machines and the huge space behind them.

The Frugal Homemaker did a fabulous job making this DIY Farmhouse Style Hall Tree for just about $30. Perfect outdoor bench, right?!

This DIY Pedestal Table is a fun build and pretty easy. And, it’ll only cost you about $50 for the lumber and that ready to stain round top. Can you tell I’m a huge fan of Budget-Friendly DIY Furniture Plans. I build all the time. 🙂

Living Letter Home shares how they made this fabulous Restoration Hardware Inspired Dining Table and Bench for less than $150. Yow, that’s amazing.

This $20 DIY Easy Stool Seating OR Table is a super easy build. And, you can adjust the height to work as a counter stool or kids stool. Would be great as a table that turns into extra seating in small spaces too.
