Airport Shuttle Service

2023 Update: Please note, as of February 2023, the airport shuttle will no longer be contracting individual rides.

Group coordinators and convention planners can contract with the Airport Shuttle directly to charter the service for their attendees. For more information, visit their website here.

The Airport Shuttle, the official ground transportation for the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, will get you where you’re going in New Orleans quickly and safely.

Where They Pick Up at the Airport

Look for Airport Shuttle signage right outside the baggage area. The vehicles are white with yellow “Airport Shuttle” lettering on the side.

Where They Go

Airport Shuttle service is available to and from Downtown and Uptown New Orleans hotels, the French Quarter, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and the Cruise Ship Terminals.

Return to the Airport

Look for the Airport Shuttle parked in front of your hotel/departure location approximately 5 to 7 minutes before scheduled departure time.

Schedule

Shuttles run every day of the year, with vans departing approximately every 30 minutes between 5:55 AM – 10:00 PM.

Purchasing Tickets

You can purchase ticket(s) at www.airportshuttleneworleans.com or in person at the Airport Shuttle Ticket Desk, located on the ground level of the airport across from the baggage claim area, or you can make a reservation by calling 866-596-2699. They accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover (and cash if you’re paying in person at the airport location). If you’re purchasing your ticket(s) at the airport, please claim your luggage FIRST.

For Departure Reservations (from downtown New Orleans back to the airport), please call (504) 522-3500 or (866) 596-2699 no later than 24 hours prior to your flight. 

Costs and Fine Print

• $30 one-way, $56 round trip per person.
• The first three average-sized bags per passenger are free. Oversized or additional luggage is subject to an additional fee (Please Note: Vehicles cannot handle equipment or large items)
• Although not required, travelers must provide their own child car seats or booster seats, if wanted
• Special arrangements may be made for groups and pre-purchased vouchers
• Shuttle tickets are non-refundable
• Fares do not include a driver gratuity

Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles
