Why should business engage ?  

At the CBD COP15, governments will  adopt a global agreement on nature: the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. This framework will be translated by governments into national legislations that will have direct consequences on businesses. It will set the direction for business action, change how they operate, and transform their business models. It can unlock new business opportunities, create a level playing field, and stable operating environment for businesses around the world. 

A unified, strong business voice helped with the adoption of the Paris Agreement on climate. Similarly, a progressive business voice on biodiversity can give negotiators the courage and comfort to adopt an ambitious and actionable agreement at COP15.
