On the palate, Cimarron feels full-bodied providing a good mouthfeel. The first sip is rich in baking spice, followed by agave, an earthy note and a touch of orange.
The finish is long, with pleasing warmth on the way down and a touch of black pepper.
It lacks the rich agave notes of the best Blanco Tequilas but provides a very enjoyable pour at a price hard to beat.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Añejo which I was expecting to be dull coming from 1800 Tequila.

Dobel is a good Tequila as it feels smooth yet quite tasty with the right level of warmth making it entirely satisfying.

San Matias Gran Reserva is surprisingly good given the price.
