The overall objective of Eu-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN) is to increase exports and investments of the European Union (EU) to Vietnam in particular by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as well as strengthening the EU Business sector in Vietnam by facilitating market access through advocacy primarily with the Vietnamese Government.

The EU business sector in Vietnam as well as SMEs and in particular businesses from those EU member states (EU-MS) who do not yet have an official commercial representation in Vietnam are regarded as major beneficiaries of the action. The EVBN will strengthen the EU business sector in facilitating market access in Vietnam by advocating and engaging primarily with the Government of Vietnam, the Vietnamese business sector and other stakeholders.

EVBN will promote Vietnam as a high-potential trade and investment market to assure that EU companies, in particular SMEs, are better able to exploit the growing opportunities in Vietnam and Vietnam as a gateway to the SEA regional market.

Please click here to download the brochure   The EVBN supports activities in four components:  European Outreach: This component aims at improved knowledge of the economic potential of Vietnam and of the ASEAN regional markets amongst European companies, SMEs in particular; and promote Vietnam as an investment destination to European SMEs, by reaching out to Europe with the help of EVBN’s consortium partners located in Europe.   Business Support Services (BSS) provision: This component aims at an enhanced capacity for delivery of European-level, value added, business support services (BSS) for European SMEs that are not yet represented or under-represented in Vietnam.   ASEAN Regional Integration: This component aims at the regional coordination and integration of related ASEAN projects currently implemented in Indonesia, Malaysia, and in Philippines. The CCIFV has contributed for the past ten years to the promotion and awareness of the economic potential of Vietnam among French companies and accompanies per year approximately 80 companies in their approach of the Vietnamese market

The CCIFV belongs to the global network of French Chamber of Commerce and Industrie Abroad that gathers 111 chambers in 81 countries. The CCIFV can rely on a large network of partners in France (especially Chamber of Commerce in France) to organise some seminars and workshops. The CCFV is also working closely with Ubifrance, the French trade organisation to accompany French companies to the Vietnamese market. The CCIFV will continue this action in the frame of the project.

Since its establishment with only 60 members in 1998, the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) has grown to represent 855 European businesses, counting among its supporters many of the world’s leading enterprises. With offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, EuroCham’s mission is to represent the business interests of our European members in Vietnam, and to improve the business environment in Vietnam for the benefit of all players. EuroCham also aims at helping Vietnamese enterprises to successfully meet the many challenges posed by the nation’s ongoing global economic integration.

As the lead organization representing European business interests in Vietnam, EuroCham now works in partnership with the Belgium Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BeluxCham), the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), The Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC) and the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV), the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA), the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICham), the Hanoi chapter of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (NordCham) and the Spanish Business Group in Vietnam (SBG) and EuroCham is also a member and founder of the EU-ASEAN Business Council representing European business interests in ASEAN and member of the European Business Organisations (EBO) Network, which works to represent the interests of European businesses in more than 30 countries across the globe.



The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) has started its activities at the end of 2008 and is now in its sixth year of operation.

ICHAM currently has 2 offices based in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with more than 50 members, among which are well-known Italian companies as: Piaggio, Perfetti Van Melle, Intesa Sanpaolo, Datalogic Scanning, Bonfiglioli, Tenova, BNP Paribas, Danieli, Generali, Banca Popolare Emilia Romagna, etc.

The Chamber has the main purpose of undertaking activities to support bilateral trade between Italy and Vietnam, including activities of its members; organizing trade missions, workshops, seminars; developing the contacts and cooperation with the institutions in Italy and the European Union, with the Chamber of Commerce Network, and with business associations.


Czech Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Czech Chamber of Commerce (HK ČR) is an independent public institution of entrepreneurial self- governance. It was founded in 1993 by law (No. 301/1992) as a legal successor of chamber organizations on the territory of the Czech Republic since 1920. With almost 14,000 members the HK CR serves as a one-stop-shop for Czech and foreign enterprises that are in need of information, new business opportunities or any other sort of expert service. Its regional and professional structure comprises 66 regional and local chambers as well as 84 professional associations.

Main mission of the HK CR is to create opportunities for business, push through and support measures aiming at further development of business in the Czech Republic and to an overall economic stability of the country.

HK CR is a member of European association of chambers of commerce and industry EUROCHAMBRES and International Chamber of Commerce.

  PPC Polish Chamber Of Commerce

Polish Chamber of Commerce (PCC) founded in 1990 is the largest economic self-government institution in Poland. PCC gathers above 150 business organizations. The PCC cares about entrepreneurs in the international arena. PCC is a member of EUROCHAMBRES, Association of the European Chambers of Industry and Commerce, which groups the European chambers of commerce, and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. Besides, The Polish Chamber of Commerce, together with the Casablanca Chamber of Commerce have realized the BATIMED Project, included in the Invest in Med project (supported by the european commission) which helps to develop sustainable trade relationships, investments and enterprise partnerships between the two shores of the Mediterranean. PCC also cooperates with the biggest worldwide national organizations. By taking a chair of Vice President of Eurochambres, the President of PCC, Mr. Andrzej Arendarski enforced PCC’s position in the european arena.


Unioncamere de Emilia Romagna

Unioncamere del Emilia Romagna has more than 20 years of experience in the field assisting companies and is member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). The EEN in a network of more than 600 member organisations in Europe and beyond to which assists EU companies in benefitting from the opportunities the European and global markets offer. Unioncamere del Emilia Romagna will act as a Gateway to the EEN, spreading info and facilitating joint events across the whole network. Unioncamere del Emilia Romagna will also in coordination with Icham promote the projects to Italian companies.

Besides, Unioncamere del Emilia Romagna has recently launched a vietnam desk, This project addresses specifically and effectively the concerns that originated the SUBSEAM project with respect to the targeted dissemination of information about Vietnam among European SMEs. Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna will also support the project through governance and institutional activities. Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna is working about to sign agreements with Hanoi People’s Committee, with Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, with Binh Duong Province, with VCCI and Vietrade.
