Ever since the first two seasons of NBC’s hit medical drama New Amsterdam arrived on Netflix in January 2023, the series hasn’t left the top 10 ranking. But if you’ve made it through those seasons, you might be wondering where to watch New Amsterdam season 3.

If you’re making your way through New Amsterdam for the first time thanks to its availability on Netflix, the third season continues the story of Dr. Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) and the titular New York City hospital. As you could imagine, even more twists and turns abound for the doctors.

The series first made its premiere on NBC in September 2018 and came to an end in January 2023 with its fifth and final season. New Amsterdam nabbed a three-season renewal back in January 2020, which culminated in the remainder of the series.

Thankfully, we have some exciting news to share about the streaming home of New Amsterdam season 3 (and potentially season 4). Fans have some options when it comes to taking the next steps in their binge-watch, or re-watch, of the beloved series.

Is New Amsterdam season 3 on Netflix?

As of Jan. 20, 2023, New Amsterdam season 3 hasn’t yet been added to Netflix. The first two seasons of the medical drama became available on the streamer on New Year’s Day. However, there’s good news! More seasons of the series will arrive on Netflix on Feb. 1.

While Netflix hasn’t yet confirmed which seasons will join the first two, it’s a safe bet that season 3 will drop in February. New Amsterdam season 4 could also be added to Netflix, thought it’s tough to say if the fifth and final season will be added so soon after its ending.

UPDATE On Jan. 25, Netflix announced seasons 3 and 4 will be added on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

If you’re a little too impatient to wait for the seasons arrival on Netflix in February 2023, all five seasons of New Amsterdam are still available to stream on Peacock. Even when New Amsterdam season 3 hits Netflix, the season will remain an option on the NBCUniversal streamer.

On Feb. 1, Netflix will also be an additional streaming home for New Amsterdam season 3. Season 4 will join also season 3, and hopefully season 5 won’t be too far behind.
