EuroCham, in collaboration with the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) and the EU-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN), kicks off the year with the special dialogue Vietnam Towards the Enhancement of Competitiveness and Attractiveness.

Date: Wednesday, 11 January 2017
Time: 10:30am – 1:30pm
Venue:  Ballroom 2, Melia Hotel, 44b Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi
– Fee: EuroCham Member: VND 850,000; Non-member: VND 1,150,000.

At this event – and following the activity cooperation between the two organisations over the course of 2016 – experts and business leaders of CIEM and EuroCham exchange ideas on how to improve the business environment of Vietnam. The content will build on the recent Resolutions 19 and 35, issued by the Vietnamese Government with the aim to ease investment practices and encourage a more dynamic business environment, as well as to support national and foreign enterprises in their operations.

The dialogue will also touch upon the role of European business under the vision of an ever more competitive and sustainable Vietnam, ahead of the coming of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement in 2018 – a new paradigm with the potential to gradually make Vietnam the leading hub for European companies towards the ASEAN region.
